Kathleen O’Day Scholarships

The Boston University Graduate Program in Banking and Financial Law has established the Kathleen O’Day Scholarships to allow international Banking Law students from the Banking and Financial Law Program or similar LLM programs to attend the Fundamentals of Banking Law Program, in which Kathleen taught the International Banking session, free of any tuition costs.

UW Law School Scholarship Donors

This scholarship was created to provide scholarship support to students pursuing a law degree with the intent of improving environmental policies and laws at a local, national, or international level. This scholarship supports law students who are Wisconsin residents and who have demonstrated scholarship and character. The scholarship celebrates Mr. Walsh’s service to the legal profession, and to the athletic program at the University of Wisconsin, where he served as boxing coach from 19 to 1958, leading the Wisconsin boxing team to eight team championships. The scholarship is awarded to deserving students with financial need. The George and Lillian Young Scholarship was established by friends and family of the Youngs. The scholarship is awarded to worthy law students with financial need.

Graduate Employment, Fellowship and Scholarship Opportunities

The RSA Graduate Scholarship in Rehabilitation Counseling is funded through a grant by the United States Education Rehabilitation Services Administration and administered by the Rehabilitation Counseling Program at Assumption College. Students are required to complete the scholarship agreement form before any scholarship funds can be applied to tuition. Soule Scholarship in Rehabilitation Counseling is funded by an endowment established by Unum Companies and administered by the Rehabilitation Counseling Graduate Program at Assumption College. The scholarship is awarded annually to qualified graduate students in Rehabilitation Counseling. The scholarship is a merit scholarship and will be awarded based on an applicant’s academic record, personal and professional commitment to serving individuals with disabilities and the rehabilitation counseling profession, and a desire to have a career in vocational rehabilitation.

Note: The BMW Center offers a scholarship of up to 50% of tuition for two Rangel fellows per year. Pickering Fellowship Program provides graduate students with mentoring, and professional development to prepare them academically and professionally for a career in the the students.S. State Foreign Service. Additionally, the MAGES program will work with Pickering fellows on an individual basis to determine whether additional scholarships to cover part of the remaining cost of tuition are available. Scholarships for Current Students

Students who are selected to receive an endowed and or restricted scholarship will be given the opportunity to express their appreciation to the scholarship donor. The Pacific University Alumni Association Legacy Endowed Scholarship is awarded annually to students who are children or grandchildren of Pacific alumni and are or will be attending Pacific University as an or a student in one of Pacific graduate programs. The Golden Guard Scholarship is a renewable award of $1000 or that is given annually to a student who is majoring in a field of study in the College of Arts and Sciences with at least a 2.5 GPA, who receives a federal Pell Grant, and who will be the first in their household to receive a four-year college degree.

Advanced Academic Programs

Scholarships from private sources are an additional method of financing their graduate education. The University recommends that students for other scholarship and fellowship funds which may be available through outside sources: the state or federal government, private donors, and corporations. Students who receive private scholarships may have their loan and or work-study reduced accordingly. Students are expected to report any outside awards to the Office of Student Financial Services including outside scholarships, employer tuition benefits, and military benefits. Students can also check on the status of their state scholarship application.

Business Scholarships

Recipient must demonstrate financial need based on the Federal EFC Formula. They’re offering applicant a full scholarship. He’s a Dean’s List student who’ll graduate in May with a degree in Psychology, and reservoir of knowledge that he thinks will translate nicely in that field.

Health Policy Scholarship

The Winston Scholarship program recognizes excellence and achievement for students in master’s degree programs in health administration, health policy, and public health by providing up to twenty $10,000 per year. Winston Health Policy Scholarships identifies and supports promising young people committed the fields of health policy, public policy, health administration, and or health management. Current first year graduate students in their second full-time equivalent semester or third full-time equivalent quarter.

National Scholarships Office

Applicants must be members of a racial or ethnic minority group that is significantly under-represented in political science, such as African American, Asian Pacific American, Latinos a, and Native American students, or who are interested in broadening participation in political science by students from under-represented minority populations and pursuing scholarship on issues affecting under-represented groups.

Staff Scholarship Program

KATHLEEN MOORE ENDOWMENT SCHOLARSHIP For career advancement and educational enrichment of career staff working under the Vice Chancellor for Campus Planning, Facilities and Safety and the Vice Chancellor for Finance and Resource Management and earning $53,000 or less annually. ORZALLI ENDOWMENT SCHOLARSHIP All career staff who have financial need, show academic potential and have demonstrated involvement in campus or community service, are eligible. The number of awards to be presented this year is based upon funds available, number of eligible applicants, and is at the discretion of the Staff Assembly Scholarship Committee. Please submit these within the scholarship application. Scholarship awards vary depending on the amount of funding available but prior scholarship awards ranged between $500 and $2,500.
