Graduate Student Scholarships
The Kochoff Pathway to Success Graduate Scholarship program was created through the vision of Arthur and Mary Kochoff. The scholarships in the Current Student Scholarship Program are made available through the generous gifts of private donors and alumni of the University of Michigan-Dearborn. The Public Affairs Graduate Merit Scholarship provides up to $1,000 per term for a maximum of three terms. Recipients must enroll in a minimum of 6 credits per semester and maintain a 3.5 graduate GPA on a 4.0 scale in order to maintain eligibility for the scholarship.
The majority of scholarships are awarded between December and February of each admission cycle or until the scholarship funds are exhausted. To ensure the award of the Scholarship, recipients must accept their scholarship award and pay the two $500 seat deposits by the required dates. Scholarships will be determined by consideration of need, grades, extracurricular and or internship activities, quality of the essay , and the specifications of each scholarship. Scholarships will be awarded at the department reception each April. Recipients should plan to attend the reception to receive their scholarship. Political Science Program
Bennett Scholarship is awarded to a junior, senior, or graduate student at the University of Wyoming majoring in Political Science The prize is supported by an endowment created by William Jennings Bryan, as executer of the estate of Philo S. Simpson to foster the study of political science, the department is able to offer several awards and scholarships for and graduate students to further, foster, and advance education and learning in the field of political science at the University of Wyoming. The scholarship is in the amount of resident tuition for two semesters One $500 award will be given for the most Outstanding Graduate Paper written for a 5000-level Political Science course during the previous calendar year , as selected by the Simpson Scholarship Committee.
There are also numerous scholarship opportunities through outside sources. The priority deadline to be considered for a merit scholarship for fall enrollment is March 1. Graduate Employment, Fellowship and Scholarship Opportunities
All Graduate Fellowship candidates will be notified by April 14 regardless of their semester start date spring, summer, or fall. The RSA Graduate Scholarship in Rehabilitation Counseling is funded through a grant by the United States Education Rehabilitation Services Administration and administered by the Rehabilitation Counseling Program at Assumption College. Students are required to complete the scholarship agreement form before any scholarship funds can be applied to tuition. Soule Scholarship in Rehabilitation Counseling is funded by an endowment established by Unum Companies and administered by the Rehabilitation Counseling Graduate Program at Assumption College. The scholarship is awarded annually to qualified graduate students in Rehabilitation Counseling.
Public Service Scholarship: Partial and half-tuition scholarships awarded to applicants based on merit and strength of application, regardless of degree program or area of interest. Executive Leaders Scholarship: 25% scholarship awarded to applicants of the Executive MPA for Public Service Leaders program based on merit and the overall strength of application. Global EMPA Program Pentland-Churchill Scholarship: Full tuition scholarship and stipend awarded to individuals to pursue the one-year, Executive MPA for Global Policy Leaders. NYU Wagner City Government Scholarship: The NYU Wagner City Government Scholarship program is designed to allow students the opportunity to explore and or deepen their interests in the power and promise of potential careers in New York City government.
Natural Sciences Council Endowed Service Scholarship Recipients must be a current major in the College of Natural Sciences and must be in good academic standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Jack Roloson Endowed Presidential Scholarship in Natural Sciences Recipients must be full-time students enrolled in the College of Natural Sciences with a minimum 3.75 GPA and have completed 45 credit hours in residence at UT. Seilheimer, M.D. Endowed Scholarship Recipients must be incoming freshmen or any classification of students with academic majors in chemistry, physics, mathematics or astronomy.
