The majority of scholarships are awarded between December and February of each admission cycle or until the scholarship funds are exhausted. To ensure the award of the Scholarship, recipients must accept their scholarship award and pay the two $500 seat deposits by the required dates. Garden State Bar Association Summer Associate Diversity Scholarship Eligibility criteri 1L students of underrepresented backgrounds with a demonstrated connection to and or intent to practice in the tri-state area. Hailey Scholarship Eligibility criteri 1L and 2L minority students who are members of the American Association for Justice Choi Scholarship Program Eligibility criteri 1L and 2L students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, volunteerism, mentorship experience, and an interest in AAPI civic issues.

Global Health Affairs

The Updike Scholarship provides up to $10,000 in annual scholarship support to students enrolled in a graduate degree program and the global health affairs certificate program. This scholarship is awarded to support Independent Summer Research and Summer Internships for Global Health Affairs students. The scholarship is competitive and will be awarded based on the scholarly merit and feasibility of the proposed project or program. There are two categories of summer scholarships. The independent summer research scholarship is designed to support travel and or research costs for student research on a topic relevant to global health. The summer internship scholarship supports living and travel expenses for students working on a registered internship project that is germane to health.

Academic Year Scholarships AwardsEligible students must for academic year scholarships through MyUW. Applicants should demonstrate high scholarship or potential for high scholarship as well as financial need. This scholarship is awarded to one graduate or woman in the dance department who has demonstrated evidence of professional promise. Two women in dance are awarded this scholarship each year. One scholarship for an or graduate student in Dance from the state of California, South Dakota or Washington Three awards are given to dance majors interested in teaching toward Dance Department-approved summer study in dance. Full-tuition scholarships are given to dance majors to study in the summer study program at the Dance Education Lab in New York.

Duration: The fellowship supports two years of graduate study, which are followed by the five required years of service.

Anthropology Scholarships

The Nelson Endowment is awarded to support graduate student research expenses. The Fellowship is awarded yearly to support a graduate student enrolled in the Anthropology in the Division of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences The Brown Endowment is given yearly to outstanding graduate students to pay for research related expenses. The Thomas Bogard merit scholarship is awarded each year to a junior anthropology major or a senior anthropology major who will be returning that has exhibited high academic achievement. Summer Internship Grant provides funding to AHSS students enrolled in for-credit internships in the summer.

Summer 2019 Early Entry New Freshmen Scholarship

This scholarship is for $5,430 and is for early entry freshmen in Business, Finance and Accounting. Scholarship is for two courses—six semester credits total—$5,430 scholarship. ACCT 101 Financial Principles of Accounting plus one other 100 level course selected from Bellarmine University’s Summer Class Schedule. $5,430 scholarship does not reduce Bellarmine University scholarship awards for entering full-time students.

Watson A.Young Scholarship

Young Scholarship promotes academic excellence and college aspiration among students with financial need. Scholarship applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and are awarded as funds are available. Young Scholarship shortly after they for a the students-M summer opportunity.

Biological Sciences

Please note: Many of the scholarships awarded by the department DO NOT require an application form students are selected by the Biological Sciences Scholarship Committee based on overall GPA and hours attended at WIU. The following scholarships are awarded by the Scholarship Committee based on overall GPA and the number of hours attended at WIU. Students selected for these scholarships will be notified in mid-Spring semester. The following scholarships require an application at various times of the year. Description CriteriaTo for this scholarship, applicants must be a major of Biological Sciences. Selection Process: Recipient will be selected by the Western Illinois University Biological Sciences Scholarship Committee. The student will receive a $3000 award as a summer stipend.

Information Networking Institute

Summer courses, if taken, are charged additional tuition at a per unit rate of $608. Summer courses, if taken, are charged additional tuition at a per unit rate of $590. The Carnegie Mellon University Financial Statement, which must be completed by all foreign students, reflects the minimum estimated cost for a Carnegie Mellon graduate student. All admitted students who return a Graduate Student Data Sheet to the INI to accept the admission offer are entered into the Carnegie Mellon Student Services System This system is the basis for class registration and tuition billing, among other online services. Please Note: Students who receive tuition scholarships through the INI will not receive these funds directly.
