President PhD Scholarships

The President PhD Scholarships offer an outstanding opportunity for potential PhD students. If applicant are a high performing or Master student and have a strong desire to undertake a PhD programme at a world class research institution, applicant could be selected to receive full tuition fees and a generous stipend for a PhD place at Imperial College London. The President’s PhD Scholarships aims to provide up to 50 research students with great potential the opportunity to work within their chosen research field with the support of an excellent supervisor. Please current registered Imperial PhD students are not eligible to be considered for a President PhD Scholarship.

Urban Health Collaborative

Fellows will receive a stipend, full tuition remission and additional support for research and travel. Awards are renewable for a second year depending on progress. Application Process: Applicants should indicate their interest in urban health and fit with the UHC Master Fellowship in their personal statement. The UHC provides student funding to support select Depth Experience placements for students wishing to focus on urban health as part of the practical experience required of all first-year MPH students. Please disclose any other funding opportunities applicant will be ing to for their Depth experience, including if applicant are receiving an hourly wage. The Urban Health Collaborative has awarded funding to four first-year Master of Public Health students completing their practicum experience with a focus on urban health.

PhD

These scholarships were established in 1970 to support students of Alaska Native and American Indian ethnicity. The emphasis of study for Jacobsen Scholars is academicallybased community scholarship and service that focuses on issues of concern to women, with particular emphasis on strengthening families. This scholarship is a tribute to their friendship and their shared love of education. Over time this endowment has grown to support a scholarship as well. This scholarship was established to honor the late Senator Pete Suazo. John and a cadre of donors hope this scholarship encourages others to follow in Robin’s inspiring footsteps.

The Islamic Development Bank Imperial College Scholarships will support full-time postgraduate students demonstrating outstanding academic merit and or potential starting a PhD course at the College. To be eligible for the Islamic Development Bank Imperial College Scholarship applicant must be admitted to Imperial College for PhD study and adhere to the following criteri . Scholarships Funding

The merit scholarships comprise three awards administered under a common application process. Multiple scholarships are awarded per year, pending available funds all scholarships provide the same level of support.

Underrepresented Minority Scholarships

Open to incoming master’s and doctoral students, this fellowship is awarded to 25 students each year. Master’s students receive a full tuition scholarship for two years, plus a stipend. Doctoral students receive a full tuition scholarship for four years, plus a stipend. Open to incoming PhD students, this three-year fellowship provides a full tuition scholarship and an annual stipend of $25,000. Open to incoming doctoral students, this scholarship provides a one-time supplementary award of $3,000 in the student first fall semester.

Martha N.Ozawa Scholarships School of Social Work UW–Madison

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide full tuition scholarships to several MSW students each year. In accordance with Dr. Ozawa’s wishes, the scholarship will be awarded solely on the basis of academic merit. All applicants to the Full-Time MSW and Part-Time MSW programs are automatically considered for these scholarships. Students chosen for this scholarship will be notified along with their admissions notification.

Fire Science Scholarships

It is a $1000 scholarship awarded annually to a student enrolled in the Fire Science Program.

Scholarship Impact Winter 2019

The award is given annually to an individual doctoral student or collaborative group of students whose in-press or published scholarship advances scientific inquiry in social work or social welfare.
