President PhD Scholarships

The President PhD Scholarships offer an outstanding opportunity for potential PhD students. The President’s PhD Scholarships aims to provide up to 50 research students with great potential the opportunity to work within their chosen research field with the support of an excellent supervisor. Please note: current registered Imperial PhD students are not eligible to be considered for a President PhD Scholarship. To be considered for the President PhD Scholarship scheme, applicants must select this option in the funding section of the additional questions tab within the online application form. Any offer of a PhD place will be conditional on final interview by the Department and (if applicable) on the candidate receiving the predicted qualifications. Applicants not selected for the scholarship will automatically be considered for the PhD.

Urban Health Collaborative

Fellows will receive a stipend, full tuition remission and additional support for research and travel. Awards are renewable for a second year depending on progress. Application Process: Applicants should indicate their interest in urban health and fit with the UHC Master Fellowship in their personal statement. The UHC provides student funding to support select Depth Experience placements for students wishing to focus on urban health as part of the practical experience required of all first-year MPH students. Please disclose any other funding opportunities applicant will be ing to for their Depth experience, including if applicant are receiving an hourly wage. The Urban Health Collaborative has awarded funding to four first-year Master of Public Health students completing their practicum experience with a focus on urban health.

PhD

These scholarships were established in 1970 to support students of Alaska Native and American Indian ethnicity. The emphasis of study for Jacobsen Scholars is academicallybased community scholarship and service that focuses on issues of concern to women, with particular emphasis on strengthening families. This scholarship is a tribute to their friendship and their shared love of education. Over time this endowment has grown to support a scholarship as well. This scholarship was established to honor the late Senator Pete Suazo. John and a cadre of donors hope this scholarship encourages others to follow in Robin’s inspiring footsteps.

Joint PhD Program Funding

Preference is given to students with financial need. To be eligible for the award, a student must be in good standing and the research must be related to international aspects of social welfare social work topics. There is no preference for particular fields of study and Rackham and the International Institute aim to fund a diverse array of students and projects.

Bernadette Gray-Little Doctoral Fellowship

The Fellowship will provide to outstanding students in the first year of their doctoral programs at the University. Students funded by the Self Graduate Fellowship, University Graduate Fellowship, or the Chancellor’s Doctoral Fellowship are not eligible. The nomination for this award matches the nomination process for the Chancellor’s Doctoral Fellowship. The Bernadette Gray-Little Doctoral Fellowship is made possible through the generosity of donors and the KU Endowment Executive Committee.

P G Simulation Technology Scholarships

An Fun was awarded the P G Simulation Technology Scholarship. Eleanor Scott received the John Moteff Scholarship. This year’s P G Technology Scholarship marks the 5th year of the award. Nikhil is the second recipient of this scholarship. P G established this scholarship fund in order to recognize excellence in the application of simulation technology in solving practical problems.

Please note: The agreement of this scholarship is under review. The Islamic Development Bank Imperial College Scholarships will support full-time postgraduate students demonstrating outstanding academic merit and or potential starting a PhD course at the College. To be eligible for the Islamic Development Bank Imperial College Scholarship you must be admitted to Imperial College for PhD study and adhere to the following criteri . Applicants should inform the College of their intention to apply for this scholarship once they have applied for PhD study via email. Each scholarship will last for up to four full years for a full PhD scholarship and cover.

Chancellor Doctoral Fellowship

The Chancellor’s Doctoral Fellowship provides selected Fellows with a yearly $31,000 stipend for four years, in addition to tuition, fees, and a 75% subsidy of the student health insurance plan premium. The Chancellor’s Doctoral Fellowship employs a cohort model, welcoming four new Fellows each year. To be considered for a Chancellor’s Doctoral Fellowship, a new applicant to KU must be nominated by a department as a candidate for the award.
