All academic scholarships for incoming students are awarded by the Office of Admissions. Scholarships are highly competitive and granted to admitted students on a rolling basis. The majority of scholarships are awarded between December and February of each admission cycle or until the scholarship funds are exhausted. Competitive applicants who wish to be optimally placed for scholarship consideration should complete their admission filesno later than the first week of January. Notification of an institutional scholarship award usually takes place three to four weeks after admission. All inquiries regarding availability of scholarships for incoming students should be directed to the Office of Admissions.

Travel Scholarships

The Office of Graduate Studies’ Professional Presentation Travel Scholarship is offered to students to help defray transportation expenses associated with travel to professional conferences. University of Missouri doctoral students who have successfully completed doctoral comprehensive/matriculation examinations and have been admitted to doctoral candidacy are eligible for Dissertation Research Travel Scholarships or Humanities Research Travel Scholarships. These scholarships defray transportation expenses associated with research-oriented travel A student may receive only one travel scholarship during their time at MU. Bies International Travel Scholarship endowment was established by Dr. John Bies, who earned a doctorate from Mizzou in 1972. An MU graduate student may receive only one Bies International Travel Award.

International Admissions has three scholarships to offer to new degree-seeking international students Self-sponsored students paying non-resident tuition receive priority for these scholarships. The International Merit Scholarship recognizes incoming international students who demonstrate high previous academic achievement and potential to excel at K-State. The Alumni Association International Student Scholarship supports students who will contribute both during their time at K-State and after graduation as K-State alumni. All admitted degree-seeking international students may for these scholarships. Students must confirm acceptance of any scholarship awards and intent to attend Kansas State University. Any awarded scholarships will be placed into a student K-State financial account only after arrival and enrollment in full-time classes. Awarded scholarships may not be deferred to future semesters.

Current Student Scholarships

The following scholarships are available each academic year for current international students. This scholarship is worth $500 towards the purchase of books. Applicants’ academic records, contribution to WKU, international understanding, and financial need will be considered. Scholarship recipients are expected to volunteer with the International Student Office for 20 hours during the fall semester. Wurster Scholarship is for returning F-1 students and consists of a $860 credit to the student’s account Scholarship recipients are expected to volunteer with the International Student Office for 20 hours per semester during one academic year. This scholarship award will be posted to the selected recipients account. This scholarship was established by the Arkansas Fly Fishers Club to benefit a graduate student majoring in Fisheries and Wildlife Science. This endowed scholarship was created for the purpose of assisting graduate students at Arkansas Tech University and will be awarded each year that funds are sufficient.

International Tuition, Fees, and Scholarships

UW-Stout offers International Student Tuition Scholarships to qualified international students based on their academic achievement or grade point average , financial need, and their participation in cultural and community activities. The total amount of scholarship can be changed each semester and is based on the availability of funding. These scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis to full-time students. A cumulative UW-Stout graduate GPA in their program must be at 3.0 or higher in order to be eligible for a scholarship. Please note: Customized Instruction and ESL programs and classes are not eligible for the International Tuition Scholarship. The International Student Tuition Scholarship is competitive and is based on academic merit. While all applicants are considered, there is no scholarship guarantee.

Albright Memorial Scholarship at an annual celebration event, to which Mrs. This award may be combined with most other IU scholarships.

The scholarship supports law students with physical disabilities.

LL.M. in International Law

Scholarships are available for outstanding students interested in international law and are admitted to Stetson Law International Law LL.M. Program. Scholarship applications will not be considered until applicants submit their completed application for Stetson’s Master of Laws program in International Law. Postgrad Solutions now offer 15 scholarships across a number of subject areas.


MSFS merit-based scholarships are distributed to students of exceptional ability and talent based on the strength of their applications in the admissions process. The standard scholarship amount is normally between a forty or fifty per cent tuition award however, some smaller awards may be offered. Scholarships will only be awarded at the time of admission and are renewable at the same amount for the second year. A limited number of admitted applicants who do not receive an MSFS scholarship may be placed on a waitlist for merit-based aid. As with dual degree admissions decisions, scholarship awards of each program are reached independently, and the decision of one program will not affect the decision of the other.
