Carolina launches new scholarship fund for military-affiliated students

A $2 million donation from the University of North Carolina General Alumni Association will establish an endowed scholarship fund to help qualified military-affiliated students graduate from Carolina debt-free. Military-affiliated students eligible for the Carolina Covenant scholarship program will also be eligible for the Lieutenant Colonel Bernard W. The Carolina Covenant program gives students from low-income families the opportunity to graduate without loan debt. The Vetters challenged the Carolina community to match their $20 million donation to ultimately contribute $40 million toward scholarship opportunities for students from military families by the time the University’s fundraising campaign, For All Kind: the Campaign for Carolina, ends on Dec.

UW Law School Scholarship Donors

Cook Scholarship supports the students.S. military veterans who have served at least six months in active military service. Ms. Ebert’s family hopes that the scholarship will inspire students to reach for their highest goals, all the while remembering those less fortunate and in need. This scholarship was created to provide scholarship support to students pursuing a law degree with the intent of improving environmental policies and laws at a local, national, or international level. National Scholarship Program Japanese American Citizens League

The National Scholarship and Awards Program offer scholarships to students who are entering freshman, graduate, law, in the creative performing arts, and those with financial need. Please note: In addition to the National JACL Scholarship Program, many JACL chapters administer their own local scholarship programs. Railroad and Mine Workers Memorial Scholarship Established by the families of Japanese American railroad and mine workers to pay tribute to the lives of these Issei and Nisei pioneers. This scholarship supports graduate studies for students concerned with education, social justice, and service to their communities.
