Carolina launches new scholarship fund for military-affiliated students

Military-affiliated students eligible for the Carolina Covenant scholarship program will also be eligible for the Lieutenant Colonel Bernard W. The Carolina Covenant program gives students from low-income families the opportunity to graduate without loan debt. Under Dibbert’s leadership, the GAA raised than $12 million to build the George Watts Hill Alumni Center and has fostered a deep commitment to scholarships.

National Scholarship Program Japanese American Citizens League

Please In addition to the National JACL Scholarship Program, many JACL chapters administer their own local scholarship programs. Alice Yuriko Endo Memorial Scholarship Established by the Endo family, Mrs. Kenji Kajiwara Memorial Scholarship This scholarship was established as a perpetual trust by Mrs. Yatabe Memorial Scholarship This scholarship was established in honor of Dr. Thomas T. Railroad and Mine Workers Memorial Scholarship Established by the families of Japanese American railroad and mine workers to pay tribute to the lives of these Issei and Nisei pioneers. The emphasis of study for Jacobsen Scholars is academicallybased community scholarship and service that focuses on issues of concern to women, with particular emphasis on strengthening families.
