Merit-Based Scholarships

Dean’s Scholarship The Dean’s Scholarship is one of Stern’s most prestigious scholarships and is awarded to a limited number of the university most meritorious admitted students. Stern Scholarship This one-year scholarship covers full tuition for the first year of study and is awarded to admitted students showing strong merit. Alumni Scholarship This $60,000 scholarship is for the first year of study and is awarded to admitted students showing strong merit. Stern designates ROMBA Fellows to exceptional LGBTQ candidates who receive a merit-based scholarship. Andre Koo Tech MBA Scholarship All applicants are considered. The Admissions Committee offers partial scholarships each year to selected applicants receiving minimal or no financial sponsorship from their employer.

Scholarship offerings include academic scholarships, available for members and non-members seeking education ranging from associate to doctoral degrees, and conference scholarships for members interested in attending ENA’s largest educational event: Emergency Nursing annual conference. The current members of the ENA Board of Directors, ENA Foundation Board of Trustees, ENA Foundation Scholarship Selection Committee as well as the individuals that have served in such positions in the immediate past three years and the spouses and children of all such individuals are ineligible to . Previous Non-RN scholarship recipients are ineligible to re for a Non-RN scholarship. Moore Memorial Scholarship applicants, previous scholarship recipients are ineligible to re under the same category.

Scholarships

Yellow Ribbon funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis to a maximum of 100 students and a maximum of 100 graduate students if VA has determined their eligibility for the program. Centenary University offers up to a 30% tuition discount to veterans who do not qualify for the Yellow Ribbon component of the Post-9 11 GI Bill™ or for education benefits under Chapter 31. The Veterans Affairs has announced that some spouses currently receiving benefits under Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance program may now be eligible for the Fry Scholarship. A one-time irrevocable election to receive either the Fry Scholarship or DEA will be required. Scholarships

Northeastern offers additional through a variety of scholarship opportunities. This is a Northeastern-funded scholarship for veterans and servicemembers. This scholarship was created to help alleviate the financial burden placed on servicemembers, veterans and their families. This scholarship can be used for tuition or education-related expenses and is renewable annually. Fry Scholarship recipients may receive up to 36 months of benefits at the 100% level and are eligible for the Yellow Ribbon Program. The Double Husky Scholarship is helping Northeastern alumni finance their graduate education by providing a tuition discount of up to 25 percent on than 100 eligible degree programs. As a Northeastern graduate, applicant are automatically considered for the scholarship when applicant apply to one of the university eligible graduate degree programs.

Scholarships

The majority of scholarships are awarded between December and February of each admission cycle or until the scholarship funds are exhausted. The University will provide up to $1,500 — to be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Veterans Affairs for a maximum grant of $3,000 for as many as 15 veterans or eligible dependents. To ensure the award of the Scholarship, recipients must accept their scholarship award and pay the two $500 seat deposits by the required dates. Pacific Lutheran University is proud to partner with the United States Veterans Affairs to offer a number of full-tuition Yellow Ribbon Scholarships to qualified veterans or their dependents. This partnership between the VA and PLU offers qualified veterans or their dependents full-tuition scholarships to enter either or graduate programs at PLU.
