UW Law School Scholarship Donors

Ms. Ebert’s family hopes that the scholarship will inspire students to reach for their highest goals, all the while remembering those less fortunate and in need. This scholarship was created to provide scholarship support to students pursuing a law degree with the intent of improving environmental policies and laws at a local, national, or international level. And Pamelia Kelly Law Scholarship was donated by the Kelly family. Reisner Scholarship was made possible by the generosity of family, friends and colleagues of Edward J. The Shapiro Memorial Scholarship was donated by the Shapiro family in loving memory of Max M. This scholarship supports law students who are Wisconsin residents and who have demonstrated scholarship and character. Walsh Scholarship was established by the family and friends of John.

Anderson Scholarship: Established in memory of Alvin Anderson by family, friends, and colleagues. Atkeson Memorial Scholarship: Established by alumni, friends and family members. Gary Joel Hirsch Scholarship: Established in memory of Gary Joel Hirsch by family and friends. Anne Wythe Mallory Scholarship: Established in recognition of the Mallory and Marshall families, by Charles King Mallory, III, and Florence Marshall Mallory. Phillips Memorial Scholarship: Established through the will of Jesse C. Puller Fellowship Endowment: Established by classmates, friends and family in memory of the late Lewis B. Taylor Reveley III Scholarship: Established by alumni, friends and colleagues of President Reveley III. Paul and Joel Shapiro Family Scholarship: Established by family and friends in memory of Paul Shapiro '63 and Joel Shapiro '67.

Chase Memorial Scholarship This scholarship was established in memory of family members by Jennifer Chase, Class of 1992 and is awarded annually to a deserving pharmacy student enrolled in the pharmacy professional program. Jordan Memorial Scholarship This scholarship was established to provide an annual scholarship to a student enrolled in the pharmacy professional program in memory of Emily L. Norman Lacina Memorial Scholarship This scholarship was established in 1998 to honor in memory of Mr. Lacina Leone Memorial Scholarship This scholarship was established in recognition of Daniel C. Leone Jr. Scholarship This scholarship was established by the Connecticut Pharmacists Association through contributions by colleagues, associations, friends, and family of Daniel C.

Family Consumer Science Scholarships

Ms. Layton is an ECU alumna, and established this scholarship in gratitude to ECU. GRACE HYDER RICHMOND FAMILY AND CONSUMER SCIENCES SCHOLARSHIP This scholarship will be awarded to a senior student at the discretion of the department, and will be used as assistance in a career search. ESSIE ROARK COLLEGE OF HEALTH AND SCIENCES CENTENNIAL ENDOWMENT This scholarship will be available to all students in the College of Health and Sciences, with priority given to students pursuing a master’ degree in a discipline housed in the College of Health and Sciences at the time of the award.

Annual Scholarships Awards

WSTA, Partners in Information and Network Technology Scholarship Established by WSTAPartners in Information and Network Technology the recipients of scholarships will be full time, financially needy graduate and students in the Telecommunications program with a minimum of G.P.A. of 3.0. The Yang Family Nanotechnology Exploration for Scholarship Established by Mark Yang and the Yang Family, this fund shall provide scholarship support for students pursuing education at SUNY Poly. SUNY Empire State Diversity Honors Scholarship Recipients of this award must be the students.S. citizen or permanent resident and NYS resident who will make a contribution to the diversity to the student body primarily by overcoming a disadvantage or other impediment to success in higher education.

Awards and Scholarships

Awards and scholarships at the University of Wisconsin Family Medicine and Community Health support learners and educators, honor those who advocate for family medicine and recognize volunteers who make the university world a better place. By establishing a named award or scholarship, applicant can have a lasting impact on the future of family medicine. Family Medicine Educational Conference Scholarships support UW SMPH students who participate in family medicine educational conferences who present family medicine research who receive an award at a state, regional or national conference. This scholarship provides for third or fourth-year medical students who show a strong interest in the field of family medicine.

Duluth Scholarships Awards

Dr. Kenneth and Florence Bray recognized the need for family physicians in rural communities and wanted a scholarship to be their family legacy of serving others through medicine. The scholarships are funded by multiple donors who have pooled their contributions to provide renewable recruitment scholarships to entering medical students. Scholarships are awarded to students who are interested in a rural family practice and who best exemplify the finest qualities of a family physician respect for people, dignity, warmth, and compassion. The scholarship is created through the thoughtful generosity of the friends, family, and colleagues of Dr. Leppi, who in 1971, established the Biomedical Anatomy at the Duluth campus. The scholarship was established by the Family Practice Medical Center–Willmar to honor Dr. Lyle Munneke.

Endowment Builders Scholarships

Preference given to residents of West Virginia and students rated average in the scholarship achievement tests. The university Lady of Fatima of the Rosary Scholarship. The university Lady of the Mount, Queen of Peace Scholarship. Established by the Pangborn family of Hagerstown, Md. Awarded to students based on academic merit and financial need. The scholarship will be renewed as long as the recipient maintains at least a 3.0 GPA. The scholarship will be renewable for three additional years as long as the student maintains a 2.5 GPA and is in good standing with the university. Sullivan Scholarship is to be used for the benefit of students.

Family and Consumer Sciences Education

The Family and Consumer Sciences Education program , in conjunction with the College of Human Sciences, offers a variety of graduate scholarships of different amounts. Once the General Scholarship Application is completed by the required deadline, the recipients are selected by the FCSE scholarship committee. While evaluation is based on the criteria set for the specific award, most awards subsume: scholarship, excellence, achievement in academic and non-academic areas, leadership, character, seriousness of purpose and or need.
