UW Law School Scholarship Donors
Ms. Ebert’s family hopes that the scholarship will inspire students to reach for their highest goals, all the while remembering those less fortunate and in need. Awards and Scholarships
Awards and scholarships at the University of Wisconsin Family Medicine and Community Health support learners and educators, honor those who advocate for family medicine and recognize volunteers who make the university world a better place. By establishing a named award or scholarship, applicant can have a lasting impact on the future of family medicine. Family Medicine Educational Conference Scholarships support UW SMPH students who participate in family medicine educational conferences who present family medicine research who receive an award at a state, regional or national conference. This scholarship provides for third or fourth-year medical students who show a strong interest in the field of family medicine.
Duluth Scholarships Awards
Dr. Kenneth and Florence Bray recognized the need for family physicians in rural communities and wanted a scholarship to be their family legacy of serving others through medicine. The scholarships are funded by multiple donors who have pooled their contributions to provide renewable recruitment scholarships to entering medical students. Scholarships are awarded to students who are interested in a rural family practice and who best exemplify the finest qualities of a family physician respect for people, dignity, warmth, and compassion. The scholarship is created through the thoughtful generosity of the friends, family, and colleagues of Dr. Leppi, who in 1971, established the Biomedical Anatomy at the Duluth campus. The scholarship was established by the Family Practice Medical Center–Willmar to honor Dr. Lyle Munneke.
Endowment Builders Scholarships
Preference given to residents of West Virginia and students rated average in the scholarship achievement tests. The university Lady of Fatima of the Rosary Scholarship. The university Lady of the Mount, Queen of Peace Scholarship. Established by the Pangborn family of Hagerstown, Md. Awarded to students based on academic merit and financial need. The scholarship will be renewed as long as the recipient maintains at least a 3.0 GPA. The scholarship will be renewable for three additional years as long as the student maintains a 2.5 GPA and is in good standing with the university. Sullivan Scholarship is to be used for the benefit of students.
Leo and Edna Fuchs Endowed Scholarship Established by the Monroe Fuchs family. Jean and Henry Prochazka Scholarship The Jean and Henry Prochazka Endowed Scholarship is the second scholarship endowed by the Prochazka family. Jake Jacobs Memorial Scholarship student from poultry industry family. Ray Price Scholarship Endowed by Ray Price to be awarded to students. Texas Broiler Council Scholarships Endowed in appreciation for departmental assistance with the Houston Livestock Show and San Antonio Livestock Show programs. Herb Chafin Scholarship Endowment in Poultry Science Established by Herb Chafin in recognition of departmental contributions to the Houston and San Antonio turkey shows. Grady Scroggins Memorial Scholarship Mr. Scroggins was the Farm Manager for the Janes Bar-Nothing Turkey Ranch near Austin, Texas.
Parent and Family Relations
The university Family Association Scholarships award deserving Texas State students each year to help alleviate some of the costs of attendance. When hearing that applicant receive a scholarship, an incredible feeling rushes over applicant because applicant know how hard applicant have worked, and when others appreciate the effort applicant make, it gives applicant that extra boost applicant need to continue to do well. Donating to this scholarship helps me as well as others achieve not only short term goals such as taking classes but also long term goals such as working at the university dream jobs, and by continuing to donate their time and money, applicant can help many students in the future accomplish the same.
Titan Parents and Families
A minimum of two scholarships will be awarded in August. Scholarship recipients will be expected to attend one Titan Parent and Family Association event during the upcoming academic year and sign a photo release. Complete and sign the first page of the Scholarship and Awards application form. This scholarship means so much to me.
