CRA Women

The SWSIS program provides scholarships of up to $10,000 for women studying for their Bachelors and Masters degrees in fields relating to information security. SWSIS announces the first named SWSIS Scholarship, which will be known as the Rebecca Gurley Bace SWSIS Scholarship, in memory of this founder of the information security field. Women studying information security may for consideration to receive the scholarship for their third or fourth year of studies, or for a Masters’ program. Each year in co-sponsorship with Applied Computer Security Associates and the Hewlett-Packard Enterprise , CRA-W ACSA presents the Scholarship for Women Studying Information Security to 10-15 women in their or Master’s studies.

Financial Information Security Program

This document summarizes the comprehensive written financial information security program at Auburn University at Montgomery mandated by the Federal Trade Commission Safeguarding Rule under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act The Federal Trade Commission requires that financial institutions, which includes most institutions for higher education, establish policies and procedures for safeguarding customer financial information. AUM is entrusted with customer financial information and is continuing to develop ways to address cybersecurity threats and to strengthen its cybersecurity infrastructure. Customer financial information, regardless of where the information is housed or how it is kept, is confidential and is not available to anyone except those who are authorized.

ASPIRE Scholarship

The ASPIRE program will provide a full-tuition scholarship for students who are passionate cyber and information security and dedicated to careers in state, local, or federal government.

Defense Cybersecurity Scholarship

Sign a written agreement obligating applicant to work for the Defense, as a civilian employee for one calendar year for each year of scholarship assistance. Serve in internship positions, if timing permits, with DoD organizations during the time applicant are receiving scholarship support.

JHU Information Security Institute Scholarships

The Information Security Institute offers several scholarships for outstanding applicants interested in pursuing their MSSI degree. The National Security Agency, in conjunction with the Defense, is funding the Cyber Scholarship Program Selected students will have a service requirement equal to the length of the scholarship plus a summer internship with a federal, state, local or tribal government in a position related to cybersecurity. To attract the brightest minds in cybersecurity, ISI has established the Information Security Institute Fellowship The first half of this fellowship, upon their accepting the admission and enrolling into MSSI with full-time status, is to be used in the first semester toward their tuition .

MS-CSOL Scholarships Grants

Students enrolling in the University of San Diego’s Master of Science in Cyber Security Operations and Leadership degree program are encouraged to for a number of scholarships granted by the ICS Foundation to those entering the field, including the graduate scholarship and the women’s scholarship, which awards a full year of tuition up to $40,000. The SWSIS program provides scholarships of up to $10,000 for women studying for their Bachelors and Masters degrees in fields relating to information security. Scholarships are offered to women entering the field of cyber security in an effort to close the growing gender gap in the field.

Center for Cyber Safety and Education

Scholarships to inspire women to join the ever-growing field of Information Security. Applicant may also wish to for the ² Graduate Cybersecurity Scholarship, or ² Cybersecurity Scholarship, which are open to both women and men. All scholarships are administered by the Center for Cyber Safety and Education.

Graduate Certificate in Cybersecurity Risk Management

Georgetown University has a grant from the National Science Foundation through the CyberCorps™ Scholarship for Service Program to provide scholarships to students to earn degrees critical for cybersecurity in exchange for service in the form of employment in a governmental cybersecurity position.

JHU Information Security Institute Scholarships

The National Security Agency, in conjunction with the Department of Defense, is funding the Information Assurance Scholarship Program Selected students will have a service requirement equal to the length of the scholarship plus a summer internship with a federal, state, local or tribal government in a position related to cybersecurity. The National Science Foundation CyberCorps: Scholarship for Service program provides fellowship funding for students interested in pursuing a career in a cybersecurity related field. ISI has established the Information Security Institute Fellowship for Veterans The first half of this fellowship, upon their accepting the admission and enrolling intoMSSI with full-time status, is to be awarded in the first semester.
