This scholarship is awarded to senior nursing students who exemplify the ministry of nursing through leadership or participation in mission work, either globally or in the local community. This scholarship is awarded to Nazarene students who maintain a 2.5 GPA, and are dependent children of active missionaries, or Intercultural Studies majors who feel called to full-time Christian ministry. This scholarship is awarded to students from the NCO District who are members of the Church of the Nazarene, demonstrate financial need, maintain a 2.5 GPA, are juniors, and are planning a career in the ministry or mission field.

Ellsworth Scholarship Fund was established in 1860 to support students needing such assistance and having the settled and avowed purpose of entering the Gospel ministry…who by their proficiency in study give decided promise of future success and usefulness in the ministry. The annual scholarship may be awarded to defray YDS tuition or the cost of taking part in the Supervised Ministries program in an urban ministry. The annual scholarship is awarded to YDS students, especially those from Asia or Africa, who exemplify Todd’s spirit by showing a deep interest in ministries committed to social justice, empowerment, and peace. Its purpose is to support deserving students who show both financial need and clear intention of entering Christian ministry.
Scholarships and Grants
Scholarships are awarded on the basis of financial need, commitment to serve in Baptist life in keeping with the mission statement of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, and potential success in theological education and ministry. Applicants must be NC residents, active members of an NC Baptist Church, demonstrate financial need, a clear call to the ministry, preferably missions, and maintain a 3.0 GPA. Students must show financial need, be enrolled full-time, study towards their first graduate degree, be preparing for full-time ministry, and maintain a 2.75 GPA. Selected volunteers receive a $2.500 stipend for first-year tuition and living expenses and attend the FTE Conference on Excellence in Ministry. Ministry Fellowships provide to enhance the formation of ministerial leadership for second-year seminarians.
Financial Aid Scholarships
The types of aid available to the university graduate students include the Ministry Scholarship Pastoral Ministries Scholarship, The Rev. International students are not eligible to receive financial aid except for ministry scholarships with certified ministry within California. To apply, complete the online Ministry Scholarship Application and Certification of Ministry Form This is an annual scholarship and students must apply each academic year. Markey Women in Minisltry Fellowships provides financial assistance for women who demonstrate financial need in parish or diocesan ministry who are enrolled in the Graduate Program in Pastoral Ministries to obtain a graduate degree.

Acteen Challenger Scholarship Acteens with Queen Regent Award and Challengers with Missions Service Award will receive $500 per semester. Campus Minister Intern Scholarship Nine returning students will be selected to serve as interns in the campus ministry office. Students who receive the Employee Tuition Discount Scholarship, Employee Tuition Exchange, Missionary Children Scholarship, Jessica Sachs Memorial Scholarship, or International Scholarships are not eligible. Southern Baptist Missionary Children Scholarship NGU provides a scholarship to dependent children of full-time missionaries with the North American Mission Board the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.
The Foreign Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention provides financial assistance from the Margaret Fund Scholarshipto dependents of Board-appointed missionaries. Murray Scholarshipwas established to provide scholarship assistance to students enrolled full-time and pursuing courses of study leading to a bachelor degree in Christian Ministries. Scholarships are awarded to students enrolled in courses of study leading to careers in Christian ministry or in business. The Jesse Patty Scholarshipwas established with the Baptist Foundation of Alabama to provide scholarship assistance to men preparing for the pastoral ministry or to persons preparing for ministry in the field of religious education. The Dick Robertson Scholarshipwas established to provide scholarships to full-time students preparing to enter the music ministry in a Baptist Church.
Robert and Margaret Gatlin Endowed Scholarship: Junior or senior who is from the West Florida District Council of the AG, a ministry major and presently active in student ministry. Founder’s Fund Endowed Scholarship: Missions major or student who is intending to serve as a minister, missionary or educator overseas. Dr. Raffia Elizabeth Baz Smith Scholarship to the Glory of God: To provide scholarship funds toward tuition and books for students majoring in either Elementary Education or Missional Ministries and planning to enter the field of Elementary Education or Foreign Missions. Foster Bolin Memorial Endowed Scholarship: Must be a senior and a ministry major at SEU who shows promise of successfully engaging in full-time ministry of the Gospel.

CHRISTIAN MINISTRY SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The mission of the Christian Ministry Scholarship Fund is to ensure that no student who is studying to follow Jesus in full time ministry is denied an education and preparation due to a lack of funding. The university, whose lives, careers, and ministries have been blessed by God, can share by giving the university resources to provide scholarship money for students who will go out to spread the Gospel by engaging the cultures and making disciples. Individuals and couples can become members of the Christian Ministry Scholarship Fund by donating $150 per year. The Christian Ministry Scholarship Fund was begun in 1997 by 85 charter members who established this endowment that has now surpassed $3 million.
