Mighty Nurse ScholarshipAmount: $500 Description:This scholarship is for Mighty Nurse members enrolled in nursing programs at the level of licensed practical nurse, registered nurse or higher. AmericanAssociationforMeninNursing ’s Nurse World Academic Progression in Nursing: Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing Student ScholarshipAmount: $1,000 Description:This scholarship is for current AAMN members who are male and currently enrolled in accredited nursing programs, of which they have completed at least one academic term. American Nephrology Nurses Association’s Career Mobility ScholarshipAmount: $1,000-$2.500 Description: This scholarship is for current full ANNA members at least the last two years. Preference will be given to those with financial need, licensed practical nurses pursuing registered nurse education and registered nurses pursuing graduate nursing education.

The American Association of Indian Nurses New Jersey 2 Chapter will grant one $500.00 scholarship to an eligible graduate nursing student of Indian heritage and will grant two $250.00 scholarships to eligible pre-licensure nursing students of Indian heritage residing in the state of New Jersey. On behalf of Garden State Chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses Association® and Johnson Johnson Future of Nursing, the Rutgers University-New Brunswick is happy to announce the availability of nursing scholarships to and graduate nursing students. In support of attracting seasoned and ethnically diverse nurses to become nurse educators, the NLN Foundation will award scholarships of up to $8,000 to help complete graduate education.

Nevada Nurses Foundation Legacy Scholarships

Nevada Rural and Frontier Nurse Scholarship, $500 and growing multiple donors. Two Rosemary Witt Scholarships, $500 each donated by Nevada Nurses Association District 3. He is enrolled as a graduate student at the University of Nevada, Reno in the Master of Science in Nursing, Nursing Educator track , with an expected graduation date of May, 2020. As chairwoman of the Nurses Day at the Legislature planning committee, Darlene received the Elizabeth and John Fildes Scholarship to attend the American Nursing Associations Advocacy Institute in Washington, D.C. This new educational journey will include a year-long mentorship program in legislative advocacy. Tamara Mette is the recipient of the $1,000 Nevada Alliance for Nursing Excellence Scholarship. Sarah is the recipient of the $1,000 Nevada Advanced Practice Nurses Association scholarship.

American Association of Colleges of Nursing Students Financial Aid Scholarships

American Red Cross awards the Jane Delano Student Nurse Scholarship to both nursing students and graduate nursing students who are a volunteer or employee of the American Red Cross Unit. National Association of Hispanic Nurses members enrolled in accredited and graduate nursing programs are presented scholarships based on their demonstration of professional contributions to the nursing profession and have the potential to be role models to aspiring nursing students. NURSE Corps Scholarship Program , helps students complete their nursing education by paying tuition, fees, other education costs, while providing a monthly living stipend. Doctoral Scholarships in cancer nursing provide support for study in a doctoral degree program in nursing or a related area that will prepare the graduate for a career as a cancer nurse scientist.

List of Nursing Scholarships by State

Students in pursuit of an associate degree in nursing, an associate degree in applied sciences in nursing, a hospital based diploma in nursing, a baccalaureate degree in nursing, a graduate degree in nursing or a certificate in practical nursing may apply. The Vermont Educational Loan Repayment Program for Nurses is funded by the State of Vermont through the Health, and is administered by the University of Vermont College of Medicine Area Health Education Centers Program. The Foundation annually awards scholarships to qualified students pursuing careers in nursing in the state of Washington. Graduate student applicants must be admitted to an approved graduate nursing program to be eligible to apply for a scholarship.


This scholarship is given by Mississippi Nurses Foundation through monies raised from Nursing car tag sales. The North Sunflower Medical Center Futures Scholarship was established by the administration of North Sunflower Medical Center to assist deserving nursing students achieve their goal of becoming registered nurses. The Penny Willard Samuels Nursing Scholarship is given by Willard Samuels to help a deserving student achieve their goal of becoming a registered nurse. These scholarships are awarded annually to pre-nursing or nursing students. This scholarship is given by the United Methodist Men’s Club for a nursing student in the Robert E.

UM-Flint Scholarship Summaries

Kildee, Dale Edward Education Scholarship: Awarded to full or part-time or graduate students currently admitted in Education degree programs. Carl, Kathryn Education Scholarship: For students who are pursuing degrees in education. Master of Arts in Education Scholarship: Applicants must have successfully completed 18 graduate credit hours in the Master of Arts Education Program and a minimum 3.7 GPA on a 4.0 point scale. Scholarship: Preference is given to students who are enrolled in the Teacher Education Program with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and at least junior standing Scholarship: Awarded to full-time Education major with at least a 3.3 GPA on a 4.0 scale who will begin student teaching in the upcoming academic year.

A List of Gerontology Geriatric Nursing Scholarships

To be eligible for the $500 reward, a graduate nursing student must major in gerontology geriatric nursing and carry a minimum of six credits. Geriatric nursing requires specialized education and Keswick is offering various scholarship programs to help students achieve their goals. The Oregon Student Assistance Commission offers the Walter and Marie Schmidt Scholarship to US citizens who are permanent residents in Oregon and looking to pursue a career in gerontology nursing. Full-time and part-time graduate students enrolled in the Geriatric Nurse Practitioner programs may qualify for the William Randolph Hearst Endowed Scholarship Fund for Geriatric Nurse Practitioners. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 to be eligible for this scholarship award, which is available to non-traditional nursing majors.

Nursing Scholarships

Reserved specifically for registered nurses enrolled in an RN to BSN program, this nursing scholarship goes to a nurse that has demonstrated commitment to the Institute of Medicine’s call for BSN education nurses and understands the importance of increased education in improved patient outcomes. The recipient of this nursing scholarship will show outstanding character, confidence, and ability in nursing. If they are selected to be finalists for than one nursing scholarship, they will be entered into the one with the highest purse, unless they choose otherwise. While the Michigan State University is proud to offer the university own nursing scholarships, the university understand that there is much need for aid than the university can offer alone.

Awarded annually to a full-time senior level nursing student in the bachelor of science nursing program, demonstrating financial need and maintaining a GPA of 3.25 or better. In memory of Annalise and with a desire to support students at the University of St. Francis who serve and lead in the nursing profession, the Hathaway family has funded an endowed scholarship to be awarded yearly to a senior nursing student in good academic standing. Awarded to students who have demonstrated financial need and contribute to their education with their personal resources. Awarded to students with financial need who possess a commitment to academic and personal excellence and who contribute to their own education.
