Hiram and Permelia Dayton Scholarships The Hiram and Permelia Dayton Scholarships award two biochemistry students half-tuition for Fall and Winter Semesters, and are renewable with continued qualification. At least one of the scholarships is designated for a female biochemistry major.

C.B. Edwards Chemistry Scholarship, Academics
Edwards Chemistry Scholarships are 4-year scholarships awarded annually to outstanding entering students who plan to major in chemistry or biochemistry. Recent Chemistry and Biochemistry graduates have also gone on to work as research assistants at diverse settings such as Columbia University, Oak Ridge National Lab, and the National Institute of Health other students enter M.D. programs at Harvard, Johns Hopkins, the University of Chicago, and . Chemistry and Biochemistry majors at Earlham have also been selected as Fulbright scholars.
First year graduate students in the Biochemistry Graduate Program receive and tuition from the program during the Fall and Spring semesters. Students that continue in the Biochemistry Program and are in good standing are supported by fellowships, teaching assistantships or graduate research assistantships , with most of these appointments providing full or partial tuition assistance. All graduate students in the Biochemistry Graduate Program are also encouraged to for their own funding.

The IDT and Smith-Gehring Graduate Fellowships are awarded to three of the most meritorious second year Biochemistry graduate students based on academic and research achievements. As a first year student in the Biochemistry graduate program, Ms. Ortiz excelled accumulating an impressive academic and research credentials.
Scholarship Fund: Designed to provide financial assistance to UM-Flint students pursuing chemistry biochemistry as their major with at least junior standing and a minimum 3.0 GPA who attend full-time. Chemistry Scholarship: Applicants must be majoring in chemistry biochemistry at UM-Flint, with a minimum of 3.5 GPA. Science Scholarship: Available to biology and chemistry biochemistry majors who have completed at least 55 credit hours of course work, including organic chemistry.
Natural Sciences Scholarships
If no biochemistry student qualifies for the scholarship, the scholarship can be awarded to a similarly qualified student in organic chemistry.
