Scholarship nominees must be engineering or natural or applied science or mathematics students with intentions to pursue research or advance their field upon completion of their final degrees. Scholarships and Awards in Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Science or Any Other Technical Discipline of Relevance to the Rubber Industry. There are many scholarships available for those students who wish to pursue a degree in rubber technology, polymer science or the chemical profession.

Brown and Caldwell Minority Scholarship ProgramWhere: the students.S. Amount: $5000 Eligibility: Open to Black or African American, Asian, Hispanic or Lati Alaska Native, Pacific Islander or American Indian students who are currently juniors in college with a major in environmental, chemical or civil engineering or environmental sciences Each year, there are ten grants awarded and they are non-renewable.

Nationally Coveted College Scholarships and Graduate Fellowships

The Fellowship is offered to women scientists from Science and Technology Lagging Countries to undertake PhD research in the Natural, Engineering and Information Technology sciences. The Graduate Research Fellowship in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics track is open to doctoral students in STEM fields of study, which include the following disciplines, among others: Anthropology Biology Chemistry Cognitive Science Computer Science Geoscience Geographical Information Systems Information Sciences Materials Science Mathematics Pathology Physics Engineering. The Fellowship Program is open to full-time PhD students enrolled during the current academic year and studying computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system architecture, or a related area. The Hertz Foundation Graduate Fellowships in Applied Physical, Biological and Engineering Sciences — Up to $37,000.

2017 W.M. Keck Science Department Publications and Grants

The research goals of this grant are to test the relative influence of temperature stress and energy limitation on the upper vertical limit of an intertidal barnacle Glandula under a range of environmental conditions and develop new science curricula that link the project to California's new Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS, CA Dept. Hatcher-Skeers is participating as an expert collaborator and will receive $5000/year plus funding for student researchers.
