Cognitive Science Program

In addition to the Advanced Fellowships, the Cognitive Science Program also offer four rounds of travel grant funding, one in each Quarter. Each year, five outstanding incoming graduate students admitted to departments affiliated with Cognitive Science are awarded Cognitive Science University Fellowships.

Cognitive Science Travel Grants

To facilitate research in the Cognitive Sciences, and to enable Cognitive Science Specialists to acquire the benefits of participating in academic conferences, the Northwestern University Cognitive Science Program is making available travel grants of $300 to attend conferences relevant to Cognitive Science. Finally, each Cognitive Science specialist may only submit one Travel Grant application proposal during the current academic year.

Public Health Sciences

Proposal Development

This program supports research and teaching in the humanities and social sciences. At the conclusion of the career development period the candidates are expected to demonstrate they can successfully compete for research funding in the environmental health sciences. The purpose of this funding opportunity is to support the development of rapid, sensitive, specific, simple, and cost-effective fungal diagnostics for primary health-care settings It will also encourage inter and multidisciplinary collaborations among scientists in a wide range of disciplines including nutritional science, immunology, microbiomics, genomics, other '-omic' sciences, biotechnology, and bioinformatics.

Stanford Sleep and Circadian Health Postdoctoral Fellowship Program

The Stanford Sleep and Circadian Health Postdoctoral Fellowship Program is one of the sleep tracks offered as part of the Clinical Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University.

Centers and Center Grants

The CBN was established in 1998 by a grant from the Robert W. The CMBC mission is to foster inquiry, research, and teaching from multiple explanatory perspectives concerning issues and phenomena associated wtih mind, brain, and culture, and their relationships. The Center initiatives help to forge a larger community of scholars concerned with mind, brain, and culture at Emory, and to highlight and promote the important inquiry on these topics that already occurs at Emory. It has successfully built on existing strengths in the basic and clinical neurosciences, with the ultimate goal of creating a well-funded, internationally recognized center of excellence to serve as a focal point for research, teaching, and experimental therapeutics.

Postdoctoral Psychology Fellowship

The primary aim of the fellowship is to provide advanced science-based training that assures the development of proficiency in specific areas of clinical psychology.

Funding Opportunities The Institute for Data Intensive Engineering and Science

The program is focused on funding world-class technical research in Computer Science, Engineering, and related fields. The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement is to promote research that transforms understanding of HIV transmission, the HIV care continuum, and HIV comorbidities using Big Data Science Instrument acquisition or development proposals that request funds from NSF in the range $100,000-$4 million may be accepted from any MRI-eligible organization.

The Graduate Research Fellowship in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics track is open to doctoral students in STEM fields of study, which include the following disciplines, among others: Anthropology Biology Chemistry Cognitive Science Computer Science Geoscience Geographical Information Systems Information Sciences Materials Science Mathematics Pathology Physics Engineering.
