Established by: This scholarship was established by the students of Dr. Alvin Keller to recognize excellence in anyone are acting, directing, dance, design, technical theatre or stage management. Open to: This scholarship is open to continuing or graduate students in the Theatre Dance, in the Design Technical Production concentration, studying costume design or makeup design. Open to: This scholarship is open to continuing theatre or dance major students with an emphasis in Design and Technical Theatre. Open to: This scholarship is open to new and continuing technical theatre and design major students who are pursuing an or graduate degree with an emphasis in lighting design.

International Center

Their hope is to use these findings to: help ISE design future courses and activities for SAS show study abroad professionals what can be done to cultivate compassion in their students improve their own teaching by better understanding how compassion was cultivated on SAS. This panel joins together communication scholars who investigate different aspects of civic organization and participation in the public sphere. As an intercultural communication scholar, Dr. Chung has recently spent time in a CIEE workshop discussing contemporary trends in South Korea.

Financial Aid

An alumnus of the class of 2.01, AJ was a Graphic Design major who was also awarded the prestigious Lewis-Wiley Scholarship. To qualify for this scholarship, an applicant must be a rising senior, Graphic Design major with demonstrated financial need. To qualify, the student must be a female, Media Studies, Strategic Communication , or Journalism and Media Production major with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and demonstrated financial need. To qualify, a student must be a senior majoring in the Theatre Arts, Media Studies, Strategic Communication , or Journalism and Media Production, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.4, and have financial need.

Fellowship Opportunities Smithsonian Fellowships and Internships

The Anne van Biema Fellowship was established by bequest to promote excellence in research and publication on the Japanese visual arts. The Patricia and Phillip Frost Fellowship is offered to support research in American art and visual culture. The Terra Foundation Fellowships in American Art foster international research on American art and visual culture prior to 1980 that relates to the collections of the Smithsonian Institution.

Proposal Development

The fellowships support research in the history, theory, and criticism of the visual arts of any geographical area and of any period or work that examines artifacts or has implications for the analysis and criticism of visual form.

Cynthia Balesteri ‘03 Ray Memorial Scholarship Established through the generosity of Lucia Lighting and Design, family members, and friends in Cindy’s memory, to be awarded to a student who has demonstrated outstanding academic achievements as an interior design major. David and Barbara Broudo Scholarship Awarded annually to a sopho or junior, with high academic standards, majoring in visual or performing arts. Desnoyers Scholarship This scholarship is awarded annually to a deserving Endicott College student majoring in the visual or performing arts and who has high financial need. Myra Ann Dettelbach ‘14 Communication Scholarship This scholarship is awarded to an academically strong student majoring in communication. Ann Hart Miller ‘56 Scholarship This scholarship, established through the generosity of Ann Hart Miller ‘56, recognizes an academically strong student majoring in communication.

Arthur Zankel Urban Fellowship

Working closely with the classroom teachers, the Fellows will design a customized HRE program for students, drawing from activities on the topics of defining and understanding human rights, self-awareness and decision-making, financial independence, healthy relationships, and community-based resources to protect human rights. Fellowship criteri Fellows will need to have skills in classroom leadership, individual and small group work with diverse learners, and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other fellows to design history and youth-participatory curriculum.

Messenger-Anderson Journalism Scholarship and Internship Program The Messenger-Anderson Journalism Scholarship and Internship Program offers several $10,000 scholarships to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender students pursuing a degree in journalism and communications at an accredited four-year college or university. Bill Bendiner and Doug Morgenson Scholarship for students pursuing a career in human services, health sciences, or visual arts. Motteler Scholarship for students in the visual arts. Patricia Van Kirk Scholarship for lesbians studying theater or visual arts with a commitment to social justice. Paul Arnold Memorial Scholarship for students studying interior, fashion, or graphic design. Ric Ulrich and Chuck Pischke Scholarship for candidates intending studies that involve visual arts and design.
