Scholarship applicant exhibits leadership qualities as determined by the Psychology Department Graduate Education Committee. Scholarship recipient must maintain a GPA in accordance with the standards set by the Psychology Department Graduate Education Committee. Future Counselors of America ScholarshipAnnual scholarship awards of $1.000 to those majoring in psychology and who seek a career in relationship counseling or a related field. Psi Chi Awards Grant Psi Chi sponsors a wide variety of awards and grants each year for graduate psychology students who are members of Psi Chi. Future Counselors of America Scholarship Annual scholarship awards of $1.000 to those majoring in psychology and who seek a career in relationship counseling or a related field.

Scholarships for Psychology Majors

The American Psychological Association , the largest scientific and professional psychology organization in the the students.S., offers an annual psychology scholarship designed to help graduate psychology students travel to the APA convention in order to present their research. Offered by the American Psychological Foundation , the Roy Scrivner Research Grant supports graduate-level, applied and empirical research in the field of lesbian, gay and bisexual family psychology and therapy. Students planning to use human participants in their research must receive approval from their psychology program’s Institutional Review Board prior to receiving this psychology scholarship. The National Register of Health Services Psychologists offers numerous psychology scholarships twice per year with the goal of credentialing doctoral students, early career psychologists and postdoctoral trainees by covering the cost of review fees.

Please note the Merit Scholarships are not available for the MA in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy or the Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology programs. CAMFT Educational Scholarships California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists Educational Foundation offers several scholarships for members of CAMFT. Psi Chi Awards Grant Psi Chi sponsors a wide variety of awards and grants each year for graduate psychology students who are members of Psi Chi. AERA Dissertation Grant The American Educational Research Association, along with funding from the National Science Foundation , offers a grant program that supports research projects that are quantitative in nature and is available to support doctoral students in dissertation.

Scholarships and Awards

Schuerger Endowment Fund Scholarship to be a member of an under-represented student group to demonstrate financial need and to be an major or graduate student in the Psychology. Cortes Endowment Fund Scholarship must be a psychology major or graduate student in the Psychology. This scholarship is available to Psychology and pre-vetinary medicine students at CSU. COGDOP Graduate Research Scholarships in Psychology In conjunction with the Council of Graduate Departments of Psychology, scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $3,000 are available to graduate students who are currently enrolled in an interim master program or doctoral program, to assist with research costs.

Postdoctoral Psychology Fellowship DAY PCBH

The Postdoctoral Fellowship position requires both graduation from an APA-accredited doctoral program in Counseling or Clinical Psychology and completion of an APA-accredited doctoral internship. Advanced Practicum placements are open to third, fourth, and fifth year doctoral psychology graduate students from CSU and nearby universities. These fellowships provide opportunities to continue to build skills as a generalist clinician while also developing skills working with one or specialized areas The CSUHN Postdoctoral Fellowship is a transitional training experience between that of a Doctoral Psychology Intern and that of a licensed Staff Psychologist.

The Fellowship in Clinical Psychopharmacology was created for candidates accepted into the M.S. Clinical Psychopharmacology program to recognize their pursuit of new and innovative training in the fields of psychology and integrated health care.

Scholarship gifts assist students with funds to pay for tuition and fees, conduct research, and attend educational conferences. The Fellowship in Clinical Psychopharmacology was established for students accepted into the M.S. Clinical Psychopharmacology program to recognize their pursuit of new and innovative training in the fields of psychology and integrated health care.

Clinical Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship Program

The Clinical Psychology Fellowship at Stanford serves as the culmination of training in psychology and is guided by the scientist-practitioner model. The Clinical Psychology Fellowship is a one year position. Fellowships in Child Psychology that have a research component are two year positions and also start on September 1st. The fellowship program is approved by the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers
