The program recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based master and doctoral degrees in the the students.S. and abroad.

Computer Science, Engineering, and Physics Scholarship: For juniors, seniors or graduate students majoring in Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics with a minimum 3.2 GPA. Scholarship: Open to both full and part-time Physic and Engineering Science students.

Presidential Management Fellows are assigned to work in a broad range of areas including public policy and administration, domestic and international issues, information technology, acquisition, human resources, engineering, health and medical sciences, financial management, and many other fields in support of public service programs.

External Fellowships

U.S. Energy Civilian Radioactive Waste Management Graduate Fellowship Program This fellowship is for graduate students in fields related to the regulation of high-level radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel: engineering, radiation sciences, earth sciences and material sciences.

Graduate Funding Opportunities Chemistry

Fellowships are for women from developing and emerging economies to pursue PhD or postdoctoral studies in science, technology, engineering and mathematics disciplines at leading universities worldwide. The program offers scholarships for up to 5 years to master’s and doctoral students who have special aptitude for training in science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields and offers them career opportunities to continue their research in civil service roles following graduation. SCGSR program prepares graduate students for science, technology, engineering, or mathematics careers critically important to the DOE Office of Science mission, by providing graduate thesis research opportunities at DOE laboratories.

National Fellowship Opportunities

A.T. Anderson Memorial Scholarship Scholarships are awarded to members of American Indian Science and Engineering Society who are American Indian/Alaskan Native college students pursuing academic programs in the sciences, engineering, medicine, natural resources and math. National Consortium for Graduate Degrees for Minorities in Engineering and Science Provides fellowships for minority students at the master’s and doctoral level in science and engineering fields.

Computer Science Department

The Weinig Foundation provides four to five $4,000 scholarships each year to meritorious junior or senior students in any one of the College programs: Applied Mathematics and Statistics, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical and Molecular Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Science Materials Science, Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or Technological Systems Management.
