New York State legal materials are vital for any law library that seeks to support scholarship and the needs of a national student body.
Note: All students interested in ing for a Graduate Assistantship listed should read the Conditions of Appointment for Graduate Assistantships and Application Process prior to submitting an application. Conditions of Appointment for Graduate Assistantships and Application Process. Assistantships will be in effect for the academic year, commencing with the first day of the fall semester and terminating the last day of the spring semester. Students awarded full graduate assistantships will register for and complete a minimum of 9 graduate credits each semester. The University will provide tuition remission for 4.5 credits for the fall semester and 4.5 credits of tuition remission for the spring semester. Students with full graduate assistantships will work, on average, 20 hours per week, for a maximum of 640 hours.

Wulling Center for Innovation Scholarship in Pharmacy Education . The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning is receiving increased attention in pharmacy education. To that end, pharmacy educators are increasingly engaging in Scholarly Teaching. The Scholarship of Teaching builds on the end product of Scholarly Teaching. It involves identifying key issues from the scholarly teaching, analyzing results and putting them into the context of the existing knowledge base. Scholarly Teaching and SOTL may involve Innovation. Asian and Slavic Languages and Literatures
Junior, senior or graduate student majors in Asian Languages and Literature are eligible to be nominated for the Fairall scholarships, offered through the Department and the UI Foundation. The Asian Languages and Literature offers two kinds of support for graduate students in Asian Civilizations: teaching assistantships and research assistantships.
U-M LSA Scholarships
Awards can range anywhere from $500 to $15,000 per year, and though they do not automatically renew, students can for these scholarships every year.
Japan Scholarships and Funding
Majors in Asian Studies and in Japanese Language and Literature, or pre-majors planning on either major, and graduate students in Japan Studies and Japanese Language and Literature are eligible.
Department Fellowships and Awards
The Department awards this endowed fellowship to an outstanding student of Comparative Literature who has completed all requirements for the Ph.D. except the dissertation.
This scholarship is awarded to students who show promising work in creative writing. Award amounts vary but are approximately $500 per year. Essay: Write a 500-750 word essay in which applicant explain to the committee their educational background, their academic goals and their eligibility for the scholarship. Established in memory of Beverly Malmstad, a founding member of Fairhaven College, this scholarship is awarded to a full-time female student at Fairhaven College who is pursuing a course of study concentrating in Humanities and the Arts with a demonstrated interest in Womens Studies. This $750 scholarship is renewable to the recipient with a demonstration of substantial academic progress. This $2,500 scholarship is renewable upon demonstration of satisfactory academic progress.
