Scholarships, Grants Loans

The Pharmaceutical Sciences Scholarship is renewed for a maximum of three years, provided the student maintains a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater and continued enrollment in Pharmaceutical Sciences program. Capital Area Pharmaceutical Society Scholarship Established by a gift from CAPS, this scholarship is granted to a fifth-year student who also qualifies as a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of the State of New York. Carol Lee Sowek ’74 Memorial Scholarship This scholarship was established by Edward and Muriel Sowek in memory of their daughter Carol, a 1974 graduate of ACPHS’s former Medical Technology program.

Financial Information

Prospective recipients must major in Biology, Chemistry, -Computer Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, Mathematics or Physics in order to be eligible for this scholarship. American Foundation of Pharmaceutical Education Award-The Board of Grants of the American Foundation for Pharmaceutical Education provides a fund of $4.0 annually to be awarded to highly deserving students who are in need of financial aid.

Community of Science is the leading international resource for medical, health related, and scientific research funding information and opportunities. Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America Foundation Pharmaceuticals Pre-doctoral Fellowship Deadline: 9 1 Citizenship: US citizens or permanent residents. Howard Hughed Medical Institute HHMI International Student Research Fellowships for Doctoral Students Deadline: 10 8 Citizenship: international Ph.D. students studying at US graduate institutions in biomedical or related sciences. NDSEG Fellowships last for three years and pay for full tuition and all mandatory fees, a monthly stipend, and up to $1,000 a year in medical insurance.

CBS scholarships and donors

This scholarship honors the memory of Eloise Pittman, an alumna who graduated in the late 1930s with degrees in botany and chemistry, and became a teacher.

Honors Scholars

The university work closely with students, graduates and employers to support successful career goals and outcomes. The Honors Scholar designation is applied to approximately 20 students in each class. In addition, Honors Scholars will be invited to advanced academic workshops and networking functions with prominent alumni and other distinguished members of the legal profession. While at Gould, Julie has been involved with the Energy and Environmental Law Society, the Health Law Society, the American Constitution Society, and the Gold Honors Scholars. He is currently one of the student leaders of the Gold Honors Scholars Program. Niki is excited for another great year in the Honors Scholars Program! As an he studied abroad in South Africa and did a fellowship with Polaris, the nation largest anti-human trafficking organization.

Beckman Postdoctoral Fellow OpportunitySupports advanced research by postdoctoral scholars within the core areas of fundamental chemistry or the development and build of chemical instrumentation; research must be innovative in method, speed or process, or represent new instrument technology. This initiative is designed to support the professional development of post-graduate students and postdocs interested in the pharmaceutical and chemical industry. To attain its ultimate goal of increasing the number of imaginative, well-trained and dedicated medical scientists, the Helen Hay Whitney Foundation grants financial support of sufficient duration to help further the careers of young investigators engaged in biological or medical research.

Genetics and Genome Sciences

He is interested in exploring different career opportunities for employment after graduation and is grateful for the opportunity from the -Canaan Fellowship to learn venture capital in the biotechnology industry.
