The IDA Science and Technology Policy Institute provides a unique opportunity for recent graduates to become actively involved in the science policy arena through the Science Policy Fellowship Program. This two-year, paid fellowship provides recent bachelor’s degree recipients with a unique opportunity to use their critical thinking and analytic skills to work on a diverse set of challenges in science and technology policy areas, including space sciences, innovation and competitiveness, energy, health and life sciences, national security, biotechnology, information technologies, and STEM education.

National Nuclear Security Administration The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Nonproliferation Graduate Fellowship Program is a highly specialized program that provides unique hands-on experience to prepare exceptional graduate students for a career in nuclear nonproliferation or national security. National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowships The National Science Foundation (NSF) seeks to ensure the vitality of the human resource base of science, mathematics, and engineering in the United States and to reinforce its diversity. NSF Graduate Fellowships offer recognition and three years of support for advanced study to approximately 900 outstanding graduate students in the mathematical, physical, biological, engineering, and behavioral and social sciences, including the history of science and the philosophy of science, and to research-based Ph.D. degrees in science education.

This program aims to encourage timely completion of the Ph.D. AERA Dissertation Grants The program seeks to stimulate research on the students.S. education issues using data from the large-scale, national and international data sets supported by the National Center for Education Statistics , NSF, and other federal agencies, and to increase the number of education researchers using these data sets. The Christine Mirzayan Science Technology Policy Graduate Fellowship Program, provides early career individuals with the opportunity to spend 12 weeks at the Academies in Washington, DC learning science and technology policy and the role that scientists and engineers play in advising the nation.
