The SWE Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to women admitted to accredited baccalaureate or graduate programs, in preparation for careers in engineering, engineering technology and computer science. The Graduate Teaching Fellowship Program is a collaboration between ASME and mechanical engineering departments to encourage outstanding doctoral candidates in Mechanical Engineering, particularly women and minorities, to pursue careers in engineering education. These include: computer science and engineering, electrical and mechanical engineering, physical sciences , mathematical sciences , business sciences , and service science, management, and engineering Watson Research Center invites applications for its Herman Goldstine Memorial Postdoctoral Fellowship for research in the mathematical and computer sciences.

United Water Corporate Scholars ProgramWhere: the students.S.Amount: $5000 Eligibility: Open to sopho students majoring in one of the following fields: Accounting, Civil Engineering, Communications, Electrical Engineering, English, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, Political Science, Pre-Law, Sociology and have a GPA of minimum 3.0. A GPA of 3.0 is required, as well as demonstration of financial need, in order to be considered for this scholarship.

National Fellowship Opportunities

A.T. Anderson Memorial Scholarship Scholarships are awarded to members of American Indian Science and Engineering Society who are American Indian/Alaskan Native college students pursuing academic programs in the sciences, engineering, medicine, natural resources and math. National Consortium for Graduate Degrees for Minorities in Engineering and Science Provides fellowships for minority students at the master’s and doctoral level in science and engineering fields.

Link Foundation Ocean Engineering and Instrumentation Fellowship Program The Link Foundation offers one-year fellowships for doctoral students working in the areas of ocean engineering and ocean instrumentation research.

American Council of Engineering CompaniesThe American Council of Engineering Companies offers scholarships through nominations received from Council Member Organizations. American Council of Engineering Companies of New JerseyThe American Council of Engineering Companies of New Jersey will award up to five scholarships to students intending to become consulting engineers. Association of State Dam Safety Officials Senior Scholarships ASDSO awards annual senior scholarships of up to $10,000 to the students.S. citizens enrolled in accredited programs in engineering or related fields and planning careers related to the design, construction, or operation of dams. Donohoe Scholarship for civil engineering students who are entering the second, third or fourth year of an accredited civil engineering program.

Kevin T.Crofton Aerospace and Ocean Engineering

Awards shall be made upon recommendation of the department head to a graduate student providing research support and or conducting research in the field of aerospace and ocean engineering. Tolson , this award is for graduate students or students admitted for graduate study who are members of an underrepresented population of students in the College of Engineering Aerospace and Ocean Engineering.

The Ocean Engineering provides scholarships and graduate fellowships to dozens of students every year. Decisions regarding scholarship awards are made during the summer by the Ocean Engineering Scholarship Committee, and student applications can be submitted at any time during the Spring semester. Minimum requirements vary from scholarship to scholarship however, in general, successful applicants will have a GPR greater than 3.0 and will be actively involved in the Ocean Engineering professional societies, such as SNAME and MTS.
