DESCRIPTION
The Fulbright-National Geographic Storytelling Fellowship, which is part of the Fulbright U.S. Student Program, allows Fulbright US Student Study/Research grantees to partake in a year of storytelling on an internationally important subject. The National Geographic Society and the US Department of State have partnered to make this Fellowship possible.
The Fulbright-National Geographic Storytelling Fellowship will consider proposals for the 2022-2023 competition to conduct an in-depth investigation of an internationally important topic as an addition to their Fulbright research or arts program. Oceans, Land, Wildlife, Human History & Cultures, and Human Ingenuity are the priority fields of the National Geographic Society. To share their stories, storytellers may use a range of storytelling resources, such as poetry, painting, film, audio/podcasts, charts, or visual illustrations.
