Scholarships

The majority of scholarships are awarded between December and February of each admission cycle or until the scholarship funds are exhausted. To ensure the award of the Scholarship, recipients must accept their scholarship award and pay the two $500 seat deposits by the required dates. Scholarships

The Jerry and Krishna Walker Scholarship is awarded to support students from traditionally underrepresented minority groups pursing a graduate degree in the Center for Information and Communication Sciences. The Freshman Achievement Scholarship is a one-time, non-renewable award from the Journalism and funded by alumni and general scholarship gifts. The Michael Smith Scholarship is a renewable scholarship awarded to an incoming freshman journalism major with an academic index of 3.0 or higher, or transfer student with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Scholarship amounts vary each year, but generally award between $500-$3.000 per scholarship. Recipients of this one-year scholarship must be current graduate students in the department’s public relations program.

Student is still responsible for paying any student program fees not covered by scholarship funds. Applicant are required to submit the Bearcats Everywhere Scholarship application. The Bearcats Everywhere Scholarship does not replace any UC scholarship award. The Bearcats Everywhere Scholarship in addition to all awarded scholarships will cover the non-residential surcharge for Summer Semester 2021. If applicant received UC scholarship awards, they will be applied to their Summer Semester 2021 bill.

Find Funding

Through the generosity of the Gurney Harriss Kearns Foundation for Graduate Study in Religion Endowment Fund, this fellowship supports advanced-year students in the Religion Ph.D. program who are conducting research in the field of American religious thought and practice. Duke offers noncredit summer language courses for graduate students and other researchers who need to consult texts in French or German or need to satisfy reading knowledge requirements for graduate and professional programs.

Political Science Program

Bennett Scholarship is awarded to a junior, senior, or graduate student at the University of Wyoming majoring in Political Science The prize is supported by an endowment created by William Jennings Bryan, as executer of the estate of Philo S. Simpson to foster the study of political science, the department is able to offer several awards and scholarships for and graduate students to further, foster, and advance education and learning in the field of political science at the University of Wyoming. The scholarship is in the amount of resident tuition for two semesters One $500 award will be given for the most Outstanding Graduate Paper written for a 5000-level Political Science course during the previous calendar year , as selected by the Simpson Scholarship Committee.

THE DOROTHY BRELAND SCHOLARSHIP IN MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY was established by local physicians for scholarship awards to outstanding Hattiesburg area students majoring in either nursing or medical technology. Income from this scholarship endowment provides general academic scholarships for worthy students. The scholarship aids in the education expenses of students entering the ministry, with preference given to students called to the mission field. THE SAM JONES MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP was established to honor the memory of Sam Jones, this scholarship benefits worthy and needy students. MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP was established to aid a freshman student attending William Carey University on the Coast.

Scholarships

The priority deadline to be considered for a merit scholarship for spring enrollment is December 1. There are no GPA or LSAT score requirements to qualify for need-based scholarship funds. Accepted students who are offered a merit scholarship typically do not also qualify for a need-based scholarship. Applicants for spring or summer admission who wish to be considered for need-based scholarship funds should complete the scholarship application. Applicants for fall admission who wish to be considered for need-based scholarship funds should complete the scholarship application. Students invited to join the program will be eligible for several benefits, including the Presidential Honors Scholarship. A variety of scholarships exist for current and prospective law students.

Accounting Scholarships

All Accounting scholarship recipients are selected by the department, with final approval by the ECU Foundation Scholarship Committee. ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT SCHOLARSHIP This scholarship will be awarded to students who have completed at least nine hours of Accounting courses and have met one of the following GPA criteri 2.7 cumulative GPA a 3.0 GPA for the last 24 hours a 3.5 GPA the last semester a 3.0 GPA in their major. ADA COCA-COLA BUSINESS SCHOLARSHIP This scholarship will be awarded at the discretion of the department and was established by the Crabtree Family of Ada. CARL BARDIN ACCOUNTING SCHOLARSHIP This scholarship will be awarded to an Accounting major at the discretion of the department.

Women in Accounting Scholarships

Awards range from $2,500 scholarships to $10,000 scholarships. This scholarship is awarded to a student that embodies Barbara Iannoni’s work ethic, spirit and dedication to the accounting profession. The Diversity Inclusion scholarship is earmarked for a student of an underrepresented race that has graduated from an MSCPA summer CA.M.P, ACAP program. The Melanson Heath Accountants · Auditors scholarship program was established to provide scholarships to individuals pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance or Business. Scholarships are available for graduating high school seniors as well as college students. HACU uses one scholarship application for the several different programs it administers. Scholarship amounts also vary depending on the program, usually ranging from $500 $2,000 per year.
