Public Interest Fellowships

See the end of this file for particular descriptions of each fellowship, including the number and the amounts of the fellowship awarded. One or of the fellowship selection committees may give preference to those that have not received a fellowship from any of the Georgia Public Interest Fellowships in a prior year. These reports may be used by each fellowship to report to their donor or to publicize the fellowship opportunities generally. Eligibility Requirements: The Edward Spurgeon Fellowships use the criteria stated for all Georgia Law Public Interest Fellowships. Eligibility Requirements: The Justice John Paul Stevens Fellowships use the criteria stated for all Georgia Law Public Interest Fellowships. Finally, the Health Law Fellowship is also awarded based upon the criteria stated for all Georgia Law Public Interest Fellowships.

The fellowship recipient award will cover 100 percent of tuition and fees for two academic years. The Traditional Fellowship may provide initial support of one to two years, or up to six years including summer internships with a government agency, at the mentor/employer’s discretion.

Bridge to the Doctorate Program

Philadelphia Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation is in search of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics students to pursue graduate degrees. Funded by the National Science Foundation , the Bridge to the Doctorate program promotes the participation of underrepresented minority students in science, technology, engineering or mathematics disciplines. Selected students will be provided with fellowships for 2 years.
