CFP Certificate Program

Through assigned readings, lectures, class discussions, problem sets, and an experiential learning project, applicant will gain an of the financial planning profession and obtain the knowledge necessary to define the scope of the financial planner client relationship, identify and gather client financial data and goals, and begin to analyze and evaluate the client’s financial needs. Emphasis will be placed on the regulatory agencies that govern the university profession, ethical standards, budgeting, case study, various special situations, financial statement creation, importance of client relationships, and the time value of money. Contingency planning is an important element of the financial planning process. There are many facets to proper estate planning, and this course will touch on all of the essential elements necessary for consideration by the financial planner.

Financial Aid

Financial Aid Application

No student will be denied financial aid, or be otherwise discriminated against, because of age, disability, race, color, sexual orientation, religion, sex, or national or ethnic origin.

Healthcare Financial Aid Opportunities

Fortunately, various scholarship and financial aid opportunities can take a little bit of the sting out of paying for healthcare education. Applicant must also demonstrate financial need and submit an essay and letter or recommendation. Applicant must also have earned a minimum 3.0 overall GPA and have an interest in a career in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities. Selection is based upon financial need, academic ability and demonstrated empathy . Applicant should also demonstrate financial need. LECOM Education System

In addition to tuition and fees, students will be billed for mandatory Student Disability Insurance, Student Health Insurance and Student Government charges.

Financial Planning Certificate Online

NCPR 500 Personal Financial Planning Introduces the concepts of the financial planning process, client planner interactions, time value of money applications, personal financial statements development and assessment, cash flow and debt management, and asset acquisition. NCPR 502 Investment Planning Provides an understanding of the various types of securities traded in financial markets, investment theory and practice, portfolio construction and management, and investment strategies and tactics. NCPR 506 Capstone: Financial Planning Engages students in critical thinking and decision-making personal financial management topics in the context of the financial planning process. Scholarship General is not eligible for financial aid.
