Endowed Scholarships

This scholarship was established by Lea Abernathy, a 1935 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. This scholarship may be renewable for successive years, including graduate study, provided that the recipient continues to maintain the requisite qualifications. This scholarship shall be awarded to student in their junior year majoring in mathematics, or graduate student in the College of Science and Mathematics, with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Scholarship General supports activities that develop, expand, strengthen, or sustain National Institute of Standards and Technology partnership programs through measurements, standards, data, industry and technology studies, and technology research and development Specifically, the ADIIS Grant Program seeks to support technology innovation and service to American industry in the following fields: bioscience, chemistry, dimensional metrology, electronics, engineering, infrastructure, information technology, manufacturing, manufacturing metrology, materials science and engineering, nanotechnology, neutron research, optics, and physics.

Outside Scholarships

The scholarship is open to any current high school senior, college student, or graduate student who is a legal resident of the United States residing in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia and who is enrolled in a two to a five-year post-secondary institution for the Fall 2022 semester. In order to be eligible for the Sparks Law Dream Chasers Scholarship, you must be a current high school senior, college student or graduate student who legally resides in the United States in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia and also enrolled in a two to five-year post-secondary institution.

Scholarships, Grants Loans

Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Legacy Scholarships ACPHS offers limited scholarships to qualified entering freshman who have immediate family members currently attending or are graduates of the College. Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship The Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship is awarded to graduates of a 2 year community college, who are members of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society program. Learned Endowed Graduate Research Scholarship Established through the generosity of Susan Learned, a 1991 alumna of ACPHS, this scholarship is awarded to a student pursuing graduate study at the College. Carol Lee Sowek ’74 Memorial Scholarship This scholarship was established by Edward and Muriel Sowek in memory of their daughter Carol, a 1974 graduate of ACPHS’s former Medical Technology program.

Outside Agency Scholarships

The scholarship is available to current qualified graduate students. Graduate degrees that are 2 years or are eligible for the scholarship (JD, MBA, MD, MEd, MENG, MA, MPH, MPP, MS, etc.) PhD programs are not eligible. Four prospective or current graduate students will each be awarded a $20,000 scholarship for sharing their stories what led them to graduate school. The Michael Weiner Scholarship for Labor Studies seeks to recognize and support the efforts of graduate and or law school students dedicated to improving the lives of workers.

Privately Funded Scholarships

This scholarship was established by an endowment from the Caruthersville, Missouri, community in honor of Cleat Stanfill, a 1958 A-State grad, one of the first graduates of what was then the radio journalism program.

External Scholarship Opportunities - Charleston School of Law

Our Scholarship program is open to all students, from part-time to post-graduate. This scholarship is for students who are currently attending or planning on attending their first year of college or graduate school. The majority of scholarships are awarded between December and February of each admission cycle or until the scholarship funds are exhausted. To ensure the award of the Scholarship, recipients must accept their scholarship award and pay the two $500 seat deposits by the required dates. Office of Financial Aid

University of Michigan-Flint Health Sciences Scholarship: Awarded to Genesee Early College student graduates who are enrolled full-time in the College of Health Sciences or in the sciences in pursuit of a health-related profession. Freeman, Emmalyn Ellis Master of Science in Biology Scholarship: Applicants must be fully admitted into the Master of Science in Biology program with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3 as a UM-Flint graduate student. Computer Science, Engineering, and Physics Scholarship: For juniors, seniors, or graduate students majoring in computer science, engineering, or physics with a minimum 3.2 GPA. Computer Science Scholarship Fund: Applicants must be admitted as a graduate student pursuing a degree in computer science.

Essay, Writing, and Creative Contests

The APRN Scholarship awards students currently enrolled in an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Anesthesia graduate degree program. The Optimal Graduate Scholarship offers financial assistance to graduate students in any field.
