Donor will reward one or annual scholarships of $1,000 to a full-time or graduate student in good standing, who has been admitted to Sam Houston State University for the Master of Business Administration program or the BBA in Business Administration. KAILAS AND BECKY RAO SCHOLARSHIP IN HONOR OF B.K. MARKS: $1,800 per year Recipient must be a full-time graduate student in good standing enrolled at Sam Houston State University, majoring in any program within the College of Business Administration must be involved with community service.

Public Health Post is informs and inflects the broader conversation on health and social justice by engaging policymakers, journalists, scholars, students, and public health professionals. The MCH Diversity Scholars Leadership Program is a unique opportunity designed to increase the number of minority health professionals who can address the longstanding gaps in the health of women and children within minority communities and work toward the elimination of health disparities. PhD students in environmental health receive support from training grants, scholarship credits, and or work as research assistants at Boston University, the Veterans Administration, and other affiliated research centers.

Scholarships

One outstanding graduate student receives an award sponsored by PwC, one of the Big Four accounting organizations and the second largest professional services firm in the world. Williams, M.D., Honor Award was established to honor the late Dr. Williams, who founded the Hospital Administration program at GSU in 1952. The award is given to the graduate student in the Institute of Health Administration demonstrating outstanding leadership in the profession through university, community and work-related endeavors. This scholarship is presented annually to the student with the highest grade-point average after completing at least 30 hours in the CAHME-accredited graduate program in health administration.

Financial Aid

Award consists of two years of fellowship in first and fourth years and two years in second and third year of research assistantship, 36 units per year of tuition remission, $34,000 annual stipend, year-round health and dental insurance, and most fees, a one-time summer stipend of $3,000 for dissertation writing if applicant have their dissertation proposal approved by the end of their third year, and travel stipends to scholarly conferences to present academic work. Veteran’s Administration Yellow Ribbon Program USC Price is proud to partner with the the students.S. Veterans Administration in providing VA Yellow Ribbon benefits to qualified students.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Dr. Nancy Foster Scholarship Program provides support for master’s and doctoral studies in oceanography, marine biology, maritime archaeology and all other science, engineering, social science and resource management disciplines involving ocean and coastal areas particularly by women and members of minority groups.

Health and Human Services , Health Services Research Dissertation Awards Funding for dissertation work on topics such as healthcare, medicine, social or behavioral sciences, health services research, social sciences, epidemiology, biostatistics, health policy and health informatics. American Psychological Association Minority Fellowship Program Provides professional development activities and guidance to promising doctoral students and postdoctoral trainees with the goal of moving them toward high achievement in areas related to ethnic minority behavioral health research or services. Minorities in Government Finance Scholarship Scholarship for minority students in one of the following fields: public administration, accounting, finance, political science, economics or business administration.
