The University of Cincinnati Doctor of Audiology program has a variety of stipends and scholarships that will are awarded to students based on quality of academic record and performance in the program each year. Income supports the audiology clinics and clinical education of graduate students in the Communication Sciences Disorders at the college. If funds are sufficient, it may be used to support an audiology research assistantship.

Student Research Grant in Audiology

The American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation (ASHFoundation) invites doctoral students to compete for the Student Research Grant in Audiology, supported by the Ira M. Ira Ventry was an audiologist whose research interests and publications focused on suprathreshold hearing, conductive hearing loss, hearing screening in the elderly, and hearing handicap assessment. A tightly designed, feasible study is most appropriate for the Student Research Grant in Audiology competition.

Arthur Zankel Urban Fellowship

The Arthur Zankel Urban Fellowship is a financial aid award in the amount of $10,000 per academic year for Teachers College students to work with disadvantaged inner-city youth. The Zankel Fellowship is made possible by a gift from the estate of Arthur Zankel, who was an esteemed trustee of Teachers College. Zankel Fellows undertake a fellowship during the academic year in an approved project. They are required to spend an average of ten hours a week for the fellowship with five of those hours working directly with youth. The most current FAFSA should be completed for fellowship consideration. Exhibit the interests, skills, experiences and or characteristics that are a good match to the purpose of the fellowship and the approved project.

NSU Scholarships Search

There are many ways to search NSU vast scholarship database. Provides full tuition, plus a monthly stipend to osteopathic medical, optometry, dental, and doctoral psychology students. Other: Grade point averages will be verified before final awards are made. Personal interviews will be conducted by the university scholarship committee. Awards will be made based on GPA, written statement of career goals and financial need, letters of reference and other criteria as deemed relevant. Open to women scholars in all fields of study. Background: Established in 1989, The American Indian College Fund Full Circle Scholarship Program scholarships are awarded to students attending non-tribal colleges.

Private Scholarships

This is not an exhaustive list of private scholarships that may be available. Since these scholarships are not offered through Emerson College, any questions should be directed to the corresponding scholarship association. Any scholarships in this list that are available to graduate students will be noted in their descriptions. $10,000 award for students pursuing a career in live entertainment. Multiple scholarship contests for screenplays and short stories. Multiple scholarships for students pursuing creative writing and poetry. Mentorship, leadership, and scholarship program for African American Students. Multiple scholarships for students of Asian and or Pacific Islander Heritage. Multiple scholarships for students of Alaska Native Heritage. Multiple scholarships for students of Italian American descent. Multiple scholarships for students of all ethnic backgrounds.

Disability Scholarships

Applicants must be at an accredited university studying a field related to health and disability, to include, but not limited to public health, health promotion, disability studies, disability research, rehabilitation engineering, audiology, disability policy, special education and majors that will impact quality of life of persons with disabilities.

Tuition Financial Aid

Filling out the FAFSA allows applicant to get their Student Aid Report sooner than with the paper application and their FAFSA will be accurate, since the form has built-in edit checks to catch simple errors. It is very important that applicant submit this form to the federal government as soon as possible after Jan. These are loans offered by lenders and institutions for educational expenses. These loans are not guaranteed student loans. Lenders and institutions have varying credit approval criteria that must be met by loan applicants. These loans have a variable interest rate. Additional funding is available through these loans, offered by lenders and institutions to cover educational expenses.

Financial Aid

Once the university receive this information from the College of Education and a valid FAFSA from applicant, the university can award financial aid to applicant. Federal Direct Stafford Loans: Federal Stafford loans can be awarded up to $12,500 per academic year for independent students and $7,500 for dependent students. Depending on federally determined eligibility and academic standing, up to $5,500 can be subsidized. Please note that all Federal Stafford loans carry a 1.066% loan fee. Pell Grant: A Federal Pell Grant, unlike a loan, does not have to be repaid. SEOG Grant: Like a Federal Pell Grant, a SEOG grant does not have to be repaid. Federal Direct Stafford Loans: Federal Direct Unsubsidized loans can be awarded up to $20,500 per academic year.

Eligibility: College juniors, seniors and graduate students pursuing degrees in physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology or audiology.
