Fellowships and Funding
Barrett Electronic Materials Fellowship:Endowed by Craig and Barbara Barrett, this fellowship is awarded annually and supports a first-year doctoral student in electrical engineering or materials science and engineering who is doing research on electronic materials. Heydt Scholarship for Power Engineering: This fellowship is awarded annually to provide support to graduate students in the field of power engineering. Edward and Amelia Kavazanijan Endowed Fellowship: This award is intended to support a graduate student studying the area of geotechnical engineering in civil, environmental and sustainable engineering. Kerrigan Humanitarian Engineering Fellowship: This fellowship is awarded to an entering graduate student with a 3.5 or higher GPA who has a research interest in humanitarian engineering.

Pott Engineering Scholarships are awarded solely on the basis of interest in the engineering career field and demonstrated academic ability. While traditional career paths in medicine, law, and engineering have been around long enough for many waves of professionals to pass through them and endow scholarships to pass on to the next generation, cybersecurity is still a profession in its infancy. The university currently offer a scholarship for students pursuing degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math programs. This annual award will be given to a student interested in any aspect of social or civil justice who is currently enrolled in, or will be enrolled in, an accredited college or university for the upcoming academic year. To further this idea, Spolin Law has created a Civil Rights and Criminal Law Essay Competition, the winner of which will receive a $1,000 scholarship.
Ellen and Shepherd Long Endowed Scholarship will provide assistance to a gender underrepresented in the Civil Engineering Program. The purpose of the FieldCore Scholarship is to provide to two full time students each year who are enrolled in the Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering and Engineering Technology. This endowed scholarship will benefit students majoring in mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology and industrial systems engineering. This scholarship is available to students majoring in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Construction Management, with preference given to Civil Engineering majors.

Through its scholarships, ASHRAE seeks to motivate students and prospective students worldwide to pursue an engineering or technology career in the HVAC R field, part of the science, technology, engineering and mathematics industry. The National Academy of Sciences, National Academy of Engineering, Institute of Medicine and National Research Council offer several fellowships in science, engineering and medicine. Provides stipend, tuition, and fees for students majoring in land security related science, technology, engineering and mathematics disciplines with an interest, major or concentration directly related to one of the land security research areas.
