National Consortium for Graduate Degrees for Minorities in Engineering and Science GEM Fellowships The National Consortium for Graduate Degrees for Minorities in Engineering and Science GEM Fellowships provide support for graduate study in engineering and science for American Indian, African American, Mexican American, Puerto Rican, or other Hispanic Americans with at least junior-year status. National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship The National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship is a highly competitive, portable fellowship that is awarded to the students.S. citizens and nationals who intend to pursue graduate study in one of the 15 supported disciplines. Boren Fellowships support study and research in areas of the world that are critical to the students.S. interest, including Africa, Asia, Central Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin American, and the Middle East.

Tuition Financial Aid

CEDAR will pioneer a new NSF traineeship model whereby NRT trainees join a community of scholars with expertise and interests that span chemical sciences , data sciences , social sciences, and communication, with convergent focus on advancement of the circular economy. The objective of the program is to offer doctoral fellowships to underrepresented women and minority students working in science, technology, engineering, math, or business disciplines. Bin Khaled Alshawaf, M.D. Graduate Engineering Distinguished Fellowship will provide tuition and stipend for a PhD or MS student to pursue a graduate degree at WPI, in any area of engineering. The WPI Computer Science is seeking candidates for Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need PhD Fellowships in data-driven computing research.

I-STEM—Upcoming November Funding Deadlines

The overall goal of the program is to assist universities and colleges in diversifying the nation science, technology, engineering and mathematics workforce by increasing the number of STEM baccalaureate and graduate degrees awarded to populations historically underrepresented in these disciplines: African Americans, Hispanic Americans, American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and Native Pacific Islanders. Program Description: The intent of this solicitation is to request proposals from organizations willing to serve as service providers within the NSF Innovative High-Performance Computing program to provide advanced cyberinfrastructure capabilities and or services in production operations to support the full range of computational and data-intensive research across all of science and engineering Resources supported through awards from this solicitation will be incorporated into and allocated as part of NSF’s Innovative HPC program.

Fellowships

The Michigan Space Grant Consortium offers fellowships for students in aerospace, space science, Earth system science, and other related science, engineering, or mathematical fields. Sintokogio Fellowship Exceptional graduate students in the departments of Mechanical Engineering-Engineering Mechanics, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Materials Science and Engineering are invited to apply for the chance to goto Japan for two months at SINTOKOGIO, LTD’s headquarters in Nagoya during the summer semester as part of a fully-funded work experience program. The Graduate Fellowships for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Diversity Fellowship supports US citizens with an emphasis on underrepresented students in science and engineering. The National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate Fellowship is a Defense -funded fellowship for students pursuing doctoral degrees within areas of DoD interest.

Announcing New Fellowship Opportunities Brown Institute

Some of the university fellowships are targeted, addressing a particular contemporary challenge facing journalism, while others are intended as a professional sabbatical. Brown has also partnered with the AP to offer fellowships exploring the role of computation on local news. Computer Science Graduate Program Office

Many students in the Computer Science have won or currently hold fellowships for graduate study. Program supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based master and doctoral degrees. Fellowships support students of the applied physical, biological and engineering sciences. Must complete an approved program of study prior to third year of fellowship.
