Scholarships, Fellowships And Grants

Provides financial assistance to students who are interested in pursuing master level degrees related to Community Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Guidance Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, and Clinical Psychology. Provides financial assistance to a student from an underrepresented ethnic population for admission into an MA, MS, or Ph.D. program which will qualify for licensure as a marriage and family therapist.

MA in Marriage and Family Therapy

The Marriage and Family Therapy program offers various scholarship and financial aid awards for students. Each year Pacific Lutheran University awards two new students in the MFT program $10,000 in scholarships. Eligibility: All students applying to the MFT program may apply for these scholarships. Graduate counseling, marriage and family therapy, and social work students who will commit to working at a Medicaid-receiving community behavioral health agency or tribal health center focused on services to underserved communities, for 36 months post-graduation.

Financial Aid Tuition

On this page, applicant will find information on the financial aid options available to applicant as a Fairfield University graduate student. Entrance Scholarship recipients receive a one-time scholarship awarded during their first semester of the graduate program. Amounts vary and are determined based on academic and professional qualifications. In return, graduate assistants receive a stipend disbursed twice once in fall semester and once in the spring semester. This $5,000 grant is awarded on the basis of merit to one promising student entering the Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing Program.
