Experiential Learning Opportunities

Partnering with NYC museums and libraries, Pratt Institute-Main offers students fellowships that support tuition scholarships in the amount of $5, 2 Fellows are required to carry-out two-semester practicum internships, requiring 120 hours per semester of on-site work at one of the partner institutions. The purpose of the LOD for Museums Fellowship is to provide support for an MSLIS student to investigate the application of Linked Open Data within a museum setting. The purpose of the LOD for Museums Fellowship is to provide support for a student in the MS Museums and Digital Culture program to investigate the application of Linked Open Data within a museum setting.

Interdisciplinary Opportunities in the Humanities and Social Sciences

The second fellowship is a joint position at the John Hay Library and The Center for the Study of the Early Modern World: Applicants are invited to propose an course, exhibition, curatorial project, conference or symposium that will promote collaboration between scholars of the early modern period and the John Hay Library.

The fellowship is awarded to 12 applicants every two years who have a passion for art, a drive to excel in writing art, and the desire to become active and engaged participants in the current contemporary art dialogue.

Endowed Scholarships and Funds at University of Findlay

​​​​Established in 1992 by Charles and Mariann Younger, this endowment funds the annual operations of the Mazza Museum. Sheets established the Charles Sheets Western Equestrian Scholarship to recognize outstanding students majoring in the western equestrian studies program. The scholarship is available to students in their sopho junior or senior year of study with a 3.0 GPA or better. This fund will be used to innovative programming, acquisitions and the operations of the Mazza Museum. Two awards are made annually, one each to an equestrian studies major and to a pre-veterinary medicine major. Cosia this scholarship is awarded to students majoring in one of the health professions at The University of Findlay.

U-M LSA History of Art

Two-year predoctoral fellowship for doctoral candidates wishing to pursue a curatorial career in an art museum. Boren Graduate Fellowships enable the students.S. graduate students to pursue specialization in area and language study or to add an international dimension to their education. The Institute of International Education administers the competition for many of the grants supporting graduate study and research abroad that are offered by the Fulbright Program in over 100 countries. Lurcy Foundation Fellowship for Study in France The grantee will receive a $25,000 stipend for study in France.

Endowment Scholarships

The award is for currently enrolled students at NU who are either a science major in the College of Arts Sciences, or studying in the College of Education or the College of Business Administration. An annual award of at least $1,000 will be made to a College of Education Junior, Senior or Graduate student with special consideration given to those students specializing in elementary education. The purpose of the fund is to aid theatre studies majors for 4 years, or for the duration of studies. 50% awarded to an College of Business Administration student with need, 50% for graduate assistantships in the College of Business Administration. The fund is awarded to a Theatre Studies student who is attending the summer study abroad program in London, UK.

Memorial Scholarship Fund: For students pursuing studies in resource science with a major in physical geography including the study of geology. Lippert, Dr. Sarah Jordan Memorial Scholarship: This scholarship is intended to help support UM-Flint Art History majors and graduate students in the Museum and Visual Arts track of the Master of Arts degree in Arts Administration. Detroit Teach Project Emergency Fund: This fund will provide emergency support and serve to reduce the risk of teacher candidates experiencing a disruption of their education due to an unexpected crisis. Master of Arts in Education Scholarship: Applicants must have successfully completed 18 graduate credit hours in the Master of Arts Education Program and a minimum 3.7 GPA on a 4.0 point scale.

Marshall Scholarships finance 40 young Americans each year to study for a graduate degree in the United Kingdom. Typically offers 40 residential fellowships a year to support advanced study in all areas of the humanities and social sciences. Offers funding for graduate studies at Central European University in Budapest. It is the largest the students.S. private fellowship program in the history and social study of science. Fellowships, internships, and other awards are available, both Smithsonian-wide and through each individual museum and research center. The Center also offers up to two postdoctoral fellowships in Chinese Studies each year. Scholarships fund graduate study for aspiring future leaders in the government or nonprofit sectors.
