Internal Scholarships Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine supports members of the student population with internal scholarships. Podiatric Medical Student Scholarships There are also scholarships available specifically for those students pursuing podiatric medicine.

APMA Dartmouth Institute Public Health Fellowship The American Podiatric Medical Association partners with The Dartmouth Institute to offer a postdoctoral public health fellowship for a graduating podiatry resident.

External Programs and Funding - Pritzker School of Medicine

Please note that two exceptions to this are medical and podiatry students who will be entering their third year of medical school. Medical and podiatry students who will be in their first, second, or fourth year during the Fellowship year are eligible.

Financial Aid

Approximately 85% of TUSPM students receive some form of financial aid. This year, the university awarded over $500,000 in scholarships to incoming students based on cumulative GPA, the competitiveness of the institution and MCAT scores. If applicant for financial aid by filing the FAFSA, applicant may be offered loans as part of their financial aid offer. Student Financial Services provides information and counseling assistance to all students and applicants and informs them of available loans and scholarships for which they are eligible. Loans are certified from the lenders and include Stafford, Perkins, health professions student loans, and private bank and foreign loans.

Student Financial Services Types of Aid

The Loans for Disadvantaged Students is a federal loan program that provides long-term, low-interest rate loans to full-time, financially needy students from disadvantaged backgrounds, to pursue a degree in allopathic medicine, osteopathic medicine, dentistry, optometry, podiatric medicine, pharmacy or veterinary medicine.

Visiting Residents Fellows

Residents and fellows training at another institution within the United States accredited by Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education , American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology , Commission on Dental Accreditation , or Council on Podiatric Medical Education may rotate with a Michigan Medicine residency or fellowship training program.

Graduate Medical Sciences

The university understand that funding their program poses significant challenges, and that financial factors will play a central role in their decision to pursue a graduate degree. The MACCP program provides a tuition-reduction scholarship to every student entering the program for full-time study. It is roughly equivalent to the cost of one semester’s tuition and is divided evenly across the four semesters of their program. Most of the university students fund their programs through a combination of tuition-reduction scholarships, federal and private student loans, and tuition remission The university strongly encourage all applicants and current students to regularly check scholarship listings both within Boston University and through outside organizations. The university also encourage applicant to join listservs that will locate and alert applicant to upcoming scholarships.

National Hispanic Health Professional Student ScholarshipThe Scholarship is open to any student enrolled full time in an accredited graduate program in dental, medical, public health, policy, physician assistant, pharmacy, or podiatry students and BSN or graduate students in nursing school.
