$2 Million HRSA Grant Allows Expansion of Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program

The grant will support two pediatric dental residents who express a desire to pursue advanced training in pediatric dentistry and dental public health with an emphasis for rural, disadvantaged, and special needs populations.

Periodontal Implant Dentistry Fellowship Continuing Dental Education College of Dentistry University of Florida

The fellowship experience is available to specialists and is tailored to the desires of the fellow with experiences in clinical periodontology, clinical implant dentistry, clinical or basic research and didactic periodontology and implant dentistry courses.

Advanced Education in Esthetic Dentistry Fellowship Program

The Esthetic Dentistry Fellowship Program is designed to provide the enrolled fellows an advanced level of education in Esthetic Dentistry with didactic, clinical, laboratory and scholarly components.

International Dentists Scholarships Aid

The ADEA-Crest Oral B Scholarship provides scholarships for enrolled students who demonstrate interest in advanced education, show commitment to pursuing an academic career in dental education and are members of the American Dental Education Association. The Delta Dental Loan to Scholarship Fund is a loan-to-scholarship initiative given to a first-year student based on financial need and their intention to practice dentistry in an underserved area after graduation.

DEN Advanced Education in General Dentistry Certificate Scholarships Financial Aid

Six students are accepted into the first-year Avanced Education in General Dentistry program each year, and are paid a stipend of $38,500.

Advanced Education Scholarships

Up to $12,000 in scholarship funds will be awarded annually with a maximum of three recipients receiving equal scholarship amounts. The 2020-2021 application cycle for this scholarship is now closed and is no longer accepting applications.

Edward Herbert Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship Program The HPSP is available for students pursuing advanced degrees in medicine, dentistry, veterinary science, psychiatric nursing, optometry or psychology.

Private Scholarships

Applicants must demonstrate desire, ability, good grades, and financial need. AICPA Scholarships for Minority Accounting Students provides awards to outstanding minority students to encourage their selection of accounting as the major. Alumni LEAD UM-Dearborn students have received from $2.500-$8,000 in scholarships towards tuition by the University of Michigan Alumni Association. The scholarship may be renewable for students maintaining satisfactory academic performance. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit and financial need. Arab American Women Business Council Scholarship Scholarships are awarded to women of Arabic descent. Candidates should have a minimum 3.0 GPA, demonstrate leadership and financial need. Applicants must excel academically, show exceptional leadership potential, make an impact on their communities through their service to others and demonstrate financial need. Additional requirements are specific to each award.

Diversity Scholarships

The Hispanic Dental Association has a variety of scholarships ranging from $1,000-$10,000 for students interested in studying dentistry. Academia Sinica of Taiwan set up the Taiwan International Graduate Program in 2.02, in order to attract young scholars from around the globe to its campus for advanced, inter-disciplinary studies.
