Education Scholarships

If given to a Junior at the option of the Scholarship Committee, this student can be followed with scholarship into the senior year.3. Christina Jean Brooks Stokes Scholarship Endowment • Provide scholarships for needy Freshman students majoring in Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education, and for Senior students during their Student Teaching. Eskridge Education Scholarship Endowment • Provide tuition aide for senior Early Childhood or Elementary Education majors to be presented during their semester of student teaching they must have a high GPA and strong academic standing.

Students enrolling in any one of the Education Fordham Online program tracks are not eligible to apply for this scholarship. Rowe Scholarship provides merit-based aid to a full-time student in the Early Childhood and Childhood Education Early Childhood Special Education Early Childhood and Early Childhood Special Education MST programs.

Pipeline for Early Childhood Educators

The Pipeline for Early Childhood Educators program provides full tuition to earn a bachelor degree in education. Students pursuing teaching licensure program will be required to complete a sequence of courses that may result in additional credits beyond the minimum credits for graduation.

Preschool Development Grant

The grant is a collaboration between UNH, the NH Departments of Education and Health and Human Services, and the Governor’s Council for Thriving Children, as well as New Hampshire’s early childhood advocates and practitioners. The three-year , $26.8 million grant, will help to build New Hampshire’s early childhood care and education system to be effective, inclusive, responsive, efficient, and evidence-informed.

Graduate Tuition, Financial Aid, and Scholarships

Tuition and fees incorporate many of the additional or hidden fees that are added on to the cost of graduate education at other institutions. The 2020-2021 tuition rates for graduate Education programs are available on the Student Accounts site. MAT scholarships are awarded on a priority deadline based on early application and acceptance in the program.

Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Scholarships (Multiple Annual Scholarships) Multiple scholarships are awarded to students showing dedication to the pursuit of degrees in diverse disciplines including history, nursing, and education. Applicant must already be enrolled in a post-secondary program or will be enrolling and attending an institution of higher education within the year. Preference given to students pursuing an education in agriculture, renewable natural resources or a related field. The scholarship recognizes the tireless dedication of Pat Cox and the bright futures of Natchez students in obtaining a college education. T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood Nevada Apply for a T.E.A.C.H. Scholarships at Dominican

Hall Scholarship: Early childhood students with demonstrated financial need. Katherine Inglis Sutter Scholarship: Special education students with demonstrated need can be given to one student or divided among several. Calls for applications go out in late fall each year for the following academic year for two to three students interested in working in an academic library developing their teaching and presenting abilities. Interns will be mentored and supported by Rebecca Crown Library instruction librarians as they develop the ability to create new instructional content, gain confidence in teaching, and learn best practices of teaching in a library setting in order to gain the necessary skills and experience to successfully provide information literacy instruction.

College of Education Graduate Scholarships The University of Alabama College of Education

Priority of consideration is given to students who are enrolled in the College of Education, have a minimum of a B grade average, have demonstrated good citizenship, and have financial need, although not necessarily need as defined by federal guidelines. Priority of consideration shall be given to full-time and graduate students enrolled in the College of Education who demonstrate financial need, although not necessarily as defined by federal guidelines, and whose academic records indicate a high probability of success. Scholarship awards are given to or graduate students who intend to pursue a degree in the College of Education. Priority of consideration is given to qualified graduate students in early childhood education in the College of Education at the University of Alabama.

Fellowships and Scholarships

The Frank and Theresa Caplan Endowed Fellowship in Early Childhood and Parenting Education was created in 1989 and provides support for full-time doctoral students whose professional interests are focused in parenting, children, youth and families and or family policy. The Shared Societies Scholarship will be awarded to an early to mid-career professional living in the Arab world whose work focuses on religious, ethnic and cultural coexistence.
